so_jane: @candrew08 not necessarily easier, just different. Aside from POV and aesthetics, I believe getting consistent and predictable results from film photography is a matter of controlling your variables, of which there are So many. If you want to experience the "love", try printing out your images on a nice Epson or Canon printer to match what you see and feel on screen!

candrew08: @so_jane oh thank you so much for the tips! My husband just said I can't put a darkroom in my house : ( so I guess I'll have to invest in a quality printer!

so_jane: That's great. You'll have more success sooner so you won't be discouraged. The first time I loaded 35mm film on metal reels, it took me 40 minutes and I lost a quart in sweat!
