The environmental concept of equilibrium is something metastable, not permanent. Curves are shapes of this dynamic balance in nature, where nothing is eternal.
CPKC's 148 train starts a run down the River Subdivision as it eases across the Mississippi River bridge in Hastings. At least it was one of those cloudy days with lots of detail to be found in the sky.

I took several JPEG shots (60/sec) of this kingfisher, while diving and when it landed on this branch. The outcome, also due the dark weather conditions and consequently high ISO, was a mix of some acceptable shots but most of them not the best focus/details. Probably also not the best settings in the camera.
Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this image. Next time better! 😁

C-GNKW, a Socata TBM 930, accelerating down runway 33 at Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario.
It was departing to Oshawa, Ontario.
The aircraft's Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D turbine produces 850shp and drives a Hartzell 5-blade composite propeller that enables a maximum cruise speed of 330 kts / 380 mph.

A four pack of classic geeps, all non-dynamic ex-NKP units, make their way through the industrial flats part of Cleveland with a train from E.55th St. yard headed to Campbell Rd. yard. The train is using trackage rights over Conrail, which are former EL, but here is back on home rails that were once W&LE. Seems hard to believe these days, but the W&LE at one time had a yard located where the distant concrete silo is located, which was abandoned after Campbell Road was built. Also hard to believe, but NS still serves this area even though they do not go beyond about where the rear of this train would at.
