Take two of dye samples, this time with added mathematical correctness! This photo is kind of contrasty, the shades are pretty deep, but I couldn't get my camera to stop buggin' out entirely.
The yarn isn't handspun, I just used some commercial wool for sampling. I picked four colors, and dyed samples of each, then mixed and matched at different percentages to make the other 8 colors.

5/2 Silk warp, handpainted with acid dyes and then overdyed with cochineal natural dyes. Tussah noil weft.
We strolled around the Brimfield Antique Market today. While we were definitely squicked out by a lot of the whole flea market scene, we did find some fabulous treasures.
