I made this to wrap my mom's Easter present in. Instead of wrapping it in paper to be thrown away, I made fabric she could later use for a quilt. This idea came from her best friend who would always wrap our presents in fabric as an additional item to the gift. The pattern was created by holding it and clamping clothes pins alternating them on each side. The color was achieved using Dylon Dye in ocean blue, fern green and tropical green mixed together.

Take two of dye samples, this time with added mathematical correctness! This photo is kind of contrasty, the shades are pretty deep, but I couldn't get my camera to stop buggin' out entirely.
The yarn isn't handspun, I just used some commercial wool for sampling. I picked four colors, and dyed samples of each, then mixed and matched at different percentages to make the other 8 colors.
