Can you spot the connection to the Red Dwarf TV series?

Redwoods at Muirwoods:
The large trees in Muir Woods are the coastal redwoods, the tallest of all living things, and some scattered Douglas firs. The tallest coastal redwood at Muir Woods is about 258 feet, approximately the height of a six-foot person stacked head to toe 45 times. Further north, these trees can reach heights up to 379 feet, 74 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty. The average age of the coastal redwoods at Muir Woods is between 600 to 800 years, with the oldest being at least 1200 years old. This is still young for redwoods as they can live up to 2200 years. Being long-lived and large in size, they play a significant role in carbon, nutrient, and water cycling in the forest, helping to support an abundance of plant and animal life.
Taken at Muir Woods National Monument on my recent trip with my wife, we've been wanting to go here for the longest time, finally last week we were able to do so and it was awesome! We had so much fun and planning to go back later this month. :)

Captured this African Dwarf Kingfisher recently while visiting the Republic of the Congo.
This is the world's smallest kingfisher with a length of 10 cm (3.9 in) and a weight of 9–12 grams (0.32–0.42 oz), so really something special and only found in Africa.
Zinnia x hybrida white
Zinnia x hybrida cultivars are a cross between Zinnia elegans and Zinnia angustifolia. They have the short, compact size and profuse flowering of the former and the disease resistance of the latter. Flowers average between 2 and 3 inches in diameter.
Zinnia x hybrida is considered a dwarf group -- they have been bred to be much shorter and bushier than the species plants.

I’m going to have to cut my Dwarf witch alder way back after blooming season to see if it will produce far more flowers than it has in recent years. But at least there are several now, including this one. Doesn't it look like it belongs in a coral reef?
