Another cool tiny spider (about 2mm long) that I found at Lake Waterford Park in Maryland yesterday (4/5/23). I know that it's some type of dwarf spider but I don't know what exact type.

Ares and the spy Dwarf on duty!

This dwarf moray was not intimidated by my close approach. He kept his tiny jaws wide open and didn't back down at all. Dwarf morays reach a maximum length of 12 inches.

This very cute baby rabbit belongs to my friend’s daughter. It hasn’t got a name because they don’t know it’s sex.

Zinnia x hybrida

Zinnia x hybrida cultivars are a cross between Zinnia elegans and Zinnia angustifolia. They have the short, compact size and profuse flowering of the former and the disease resistance of the latter. Flowers average between 2 and 3 inches in diameter.

Zinnia x hybrida is considered a dwarf group -- they have been bred to be much shorter and bushier than the species plants.

Last one from The Vile, Rhossili. I'd hoped to have returned because I need a portfolio of these ( more on that another time) but tomorrow we move on to pastures green.

My daughter's dwarf hydrangea came to live at my house during one of her trips and hasn't made the journey back to her place yet. It bloomed a little later than regular hydrangea but it's been fun to watch.
