Dwarf Brodiaea (Brodiaea terrestris) - a native California wildflower. These beautiful flowers grow on short stems very close to the ground. This population is growing on shallow serpentine soil behind Barkley Park in Woodside, California.
I was finding it had to get a good photo at first, but in the end I came up with a few good ones of this elusive character.
