I've identified this as dwarf ginseng. Panax trifolius. Taken in Wyckoff, NJ

These two statues at Clark's Elioak Farm were previously displayed at The Enchanted Forest, a now-defunct fairy tale theme park. These statues are based on the dwarfs in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

I found this little fellow (for the first time on my own) secretly nestled in a very hidden location at the base of a fan/finger liked orange sea sponge. This discovery happened while I was trying to photograph a couple of tiny hermit crabs. =))

Nice patch of Dwarf Ginseng (Panax trifolius) at Elk Knob State Park.

The Dwarf Mongoose is the smallest African carnivore and is primarily found in dry grassland, open forests, and bush land.

It is especially common in areas with many termite mounds, their favorite sleeping place. It can also be found in the surroundings of settlements, and can become quite tame.

One of Wrocław's many dwarfish citizens, he's in front of the Elektro Serwis shop on ul. Robotnicza 40. Narzędziownik holds a drill, and is one of the only painted dwarves.

Dwarf Trillium (Trillium pusillum). In the southeast corner of Virginia, I typically find this tiny trillium in the same moist woodland habitats where May Apples grow. Chesapeake, Virginia.

I got this plant last year. I'm amazed it did this well, since the squirrels had a fun time digging it up last year. The stones around it helped. It's not blooming this year, but I read it takes two years after planting.

Sundew. At this soggy roadside location, two species of sundew were in bloom. If I remember correctly, this one is Dwarf Sundew (Drosera brevifolia). The tiny rosette of red leaves is far down below and out of focus. The green foliage in the photo belongs to other species of plants occupying the same site. McIntosh County, Georgia, 3-May-2024.
