Petit Dude va demain chez le dentiste (tous les deux mois). C'est à 1h45 de chez moi. Normalement je n'aurais dû aller à la clinique spécialisée que dans 2 mois (toutes les 3 fois) mais ma vétérinaire étant occupée à aménager un nouveau cabinet j'y vais déjà cette fois-ci. Toute cette route pour 15 minutes sur place, mais bon, faut ce qu'il faut
Little Dude is going tomorrow to the dentist (every two months). It's 1:45 driving from home. Normally I should have gone to this specialized clinic in 2 months (every 3 times) but my vet being busy setting up her new practice I have to go there already this time. All this road for 15 minutes there, but well it has to be done

On a day that I shot over 240 photos (most of them attempts to capture butterflies), these two images were consecutive in the camera, taken 70 seconds apart. I did not notice the connection at the time.

Lundi prochain Dude va de nouveau chez la dentiste, il y va tous les deux mois le pauvre, mais sans ça il serait condamné car ses dents poussent de travers et l'empêcheraient de manger.

Next Monday Dude goes to the dentist again, he goes there every two months poor guy, but without that he wouldn't survive because his teeth grow crooked and would prevent him from eating.
Ces deux-là forment vraiment un petit couple. Ils s'entendent magnifiquement bien sauf quand il s'agit de partager la nourriture (Dude croit toujours que Loula a quelque chose de meilleur que lui)
These two are really a little couple now. They get along very well except when it comes to sharing food (Dude always believes that Loula has something better than him)

My son very kindly agreed to a little photoshoot a couple of weeks ago. Normally I struggle to get him to model for me and I don't understand why as he is an absolute natural in front of the camera.

The Dude of Somewhereville — he’s a fixture on Main Street, though nobody can quite agree on what he does or where he came from. They say he wasn’t born in the town at all — he just arrived. The oldest residents insist he’s always been there. If you look back at photographs of town parades, carnivals, even the opening of the railroad — there he is, blurred in the background, paisley clashing against sepia, watching with that same bored look. The unsettling part isn’t that he shows up everywhere — it’s that he looks exactly the same--not older, not younger. Be sure to say hi if you see him on the streets, he's easy to recognize.

Duder Regional Park is located on the Whakakaiwhara Peninsula in Auckland, which cuts out into the Tamaki Strait. A gorgeous refuge for birds (and people). Great place to breathe, look, and just enjoy an easy stroll around the park. Simple composition reflecting the terrain.
Petit Dude m'a fait très peur, il est en clinique depuis lundi, mais il va rentrer ce matin. Ca fait déjà deux fois depuis février qu'il me fait une espèce d'occlusion intestinale. Du moins la première fois, cette fois-ci c'était une occlusion avec du météorisme qui a manqué lui être fatal. Alors pour le moment il est sorti d'affaire, mais ça reste tout de même inquiétant. Je l'aime ce petit gars si actif d'habitude et le voir mal en point ça fait vraiment de la peine. Il m'en a déjà fait voir vu que tous les deux mois il va "chez le dentiste". Normalement il doit y aller lundi mais on va voir s'il faut reporter ou pas.
Little Dude scared me very much, he has been in the vet clinic since Monday, but he will come home later this morning. It's been two times since February that he had a kind of intestinal obstruction. At least the first time, this time it was an occlusion with meteorism which almost killed him. So for the moment he's out of the woods, but it's still worrying. I love this little guy who is usually so active and to see him sick really hurts.
In addition he has to go every two months to the "dentist". Normally he has to go on Monday but I will see if we have to postpone or not.
