Doc took his drone out to capture the sunset at 3:30 this afternoon. The sun had not only set - but it was also gone! It did leave behind some beautiful lingering colors that illuminated the Tazlina River fog bank from above - thereby downplaying the winter blues of the snow below. Just another afternoon photo of our vast backyard.
Doc captured this with his Mavic Air 2 S
I currently fly a Mavic Air 2

Difficile route d'altitude qui serpente pour rejoindre la ville de Mogan. Point de vue exceptionnel à Gran Canarie
Three cities at the river Rhein: on the left Neuwied, on the right of the bridge Weißenthurm and in the foreground on the right Andernach.
These droneshots taken straight down pleases my eye a lot. It makes the scene more simple and its not a typical view for us humans.

The Serbian River Series - same location , minutes aftrer sunset with a drone view of the Thermo Power Plant Nikola Tesla
Thinking about my old friend the Great Salt Lake. So much of this winter’s runoff will be headed here in the end. I’ve heard reports that the south end of the lake is up as much as 4 or 5 feet already!
A very frosty and windy morning in Vienna. The drone could barely stay aloft in the stormy and icy wind, so all I got in was a couple of shots.
A Happy New Year to all my Flickr friends, and as the Viennese saying goes: einen Guten Rutsch - have a safe and good slide over into the New Year!
Doc's drone looking down on the village of Tanacross in interior Alaska. Tanacross is located at the foot of the Alaska Mountain Range, seen in the background of this photo.
Tanacross, was initially founded as a telegraph station called Tanana Crossing (also known as St. Timothy's). The name was shortened to Tanacross before 1940. The village was initially located on the north bank of the Tanana River. An airstrip was built on the south bank during the mid-1930s and upgraded for military use during World War II in 1941–42. Thousands of troops deployed through Tanacross during the period. The airfield was closed after the war. In 1972, the town itself relocated south across the river due to water contamination. In 1979, the old village burned down due to an uncontrolled grass fire, and was relocated once again to its present site, just off of the Alaskan Highway, north of Tok, Alaska
We seem to have several resident moose hanging around our yard. Doc sent his drone up this morning to capture their crisscrossing paths. They are squeezing their humongous bodies between our truck and our porch which is about 4-1/2 feet wide - as well as between our truck camper and our truck - which is about the same distance apart. How they do it without knocking the truck camper off of its four storage jacks - we do not know. Maybe moose are more graceful than we think.
The Leitha is a river that flows through Austria and Hungary and ends in the Danube as it's right tributary
This one seems to have no name and no documentation that I can find, so I refer to it as Upper Pinto Creek Falls, since it's just upstream from Pinto Creek Falls. Steep rock walls topped with thick brush on both sides will make access difficult at best.
Today was optimal conditions for the drone to shoot the sea front of the village of Diano Marina on the Italian Riviera. There weren't that many people left on the beach (whom I could have endangered with the drone), the light was excellent, no wind... Everything perfect. I started on the pier, which consists of very large boulders, and climbed to a height of 80 meters, from where I took a few shots. When I landed, my drone almost fell into a crevice between the boulders
