I know I've posted the Cardero Building a couple of times before. Last time, promise!
I was driving downtown and saw the building again, this time from a different angle. While driving....the traffic stopped, so I picked up my camera, which had my macro lens on, reached around the steering wheel and as close to the front windshield as I could, and took this one shot.
I decided to leave it in colour this time.

Fog partially obscures the Fred Hartman cable-stayed (fan arranged) Bridge in Baytown, Texas. Drive-through shooting..
This was a drive by shooting. We were driving back from Whistler, and there are such amazing views along the way, but hardly any viewpoints. And the best views are ones where you can't stop. I've tried shooting as a moving passenger many times, and most often, the images are just a blur. This one wasn't as blurry, so I'll take it....

A single porch light seen while traveling along FM 562 near Double Bayou at the end of day.
“Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgundy red, the fields the color of love and Spanish mysteries.”

Heading south on Interstate I-75 on the Mackinac Bridge, which connects Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas over the Straits of Mackinac between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. It was a bit stormy that day, but a nice drive nonetheless.
I shot this image through the windshield of a car as a front-seat passenger. We were traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour (~72 kph).
The subtle foreground bokeh is from water drops on the windshield.

Long exposure drive-by shooting (at highway speeds) of a train traveling the opposite direction. Not exactly ICM, but the Camera was Intentionally held still in a speeding Moving car :-) Near Magnolia, TX.
"Stop this Train", written by John Mayer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hAmFAL1UR0
This is a combination of a "drive by shooting" and ICM. We were coming back from Chilliwack (my blueberry field image), flying by on the highway, when I saw these skyscrapers in Burnaby, with bare trees in front of them. I could see in my mind's eye what I wanted to get, quickly changed my settings, and as the car sped horizontally, I moved my camera up and down quickly and squiggled it a bit too, also very quickly. Is that technical enough for you? :)
It was a dark, rainy kind of day and I didn't have to desaturate the image - this is how it turned out - just what I was envisioning.
I captured this on the long drive yesterday to my grandaughter's dance competition!Love the snow capped mountain to the left! My hubby wouldn't stop for me, so I had to do a few "drive by shootings" along the way! =)
Located on Alter Rd and Kercheval on Detroit's Lower East Side bordering the Grosse Pointe suburbs. I've Googled this building, but I've yet to find the name. One thing that had thrilled me for many moons is this doorway on the side of the building. Whether of Middle Eastern origin, or South Asian, I don't know, but despite the urban blight surrounding it while bordering the suburbs, its beauty had held together over the years.
A Valentine's night sunset! I picked my hubby up at work, and as we were leaving the plant..(of course I had my camera..) I saw this gorgeous golden sunset! I wanted him to stop..pull over..he wouldn't! He slowed down, so this is one of those "drive-by shootings!" Hmm..hate that term! I actually had to crop part of the car out! It's not the clearest of photos, but I wanted to share! Happy Valentine's Day!
