A notice on the side of the sports changing rooms/ tennis racket rental shop on Manor Park recreational ground in Toton, Notts. I can understand the no money and no tools bit, but 'no drink kept on these premises overnight' suggests that drink is kept there during the day!

Had to snap this as I was sitting in traffic on 69th St. last week. Among a plethora of doctors offices and consultants of all sorts was the Phoenix Park Restaurant and Lounge.
Used Topaz Labs Clarity, Adjust, and B&W Effects during my post processng. This was taken at the Muncie Childrens Museum in Muncie, Indiana.
R drinks one of these nearly every Friday - it's his personal way of kicking off the weekend. (It's not alcoholic, if anyone was wondering - but I think he enjoys the fact that it's called beer!) Me, I just like the rather old-fashioned looking design on the can.

a common drink in south america. a dried herb packed into a mate, usually made of wood or gourds and drunk through a metal straw with hot water. perfect for sleepy afternoons because it invigorates you like coffee or tea.

This week flew by, but I am very happy with the results. I will be honest I took this Thursday night, but it proved to be one of my favorites. What I did was I took a picture of a lime in my homemade studio. I then made the photo black and white and added a layer mask so the lime stayed in color. I then began the process of making the collage by creating a blank canvas, and copying and pasting the pictures. I used the Hue Adjustment to change the colors. I tried to make it as many different colors as possible, with enough difference to make it different, but still have a flow. I really like how this came out and I believe that this photo makes it much more about color than the lime.
