A place where you can drink well. ;) Some 20 years ago we've had lots of these all around in schools, parks and public places. Nowadays you can rarely see one at all, not mentioning that this battered old sprinkler down by the water tower was still working!
Childrens' drinks, packaged as "beer." Imagine the shitstorm this would stir up in the US. I love this country....

The drinking fountain on Old Cross, built from fragments of the former Church of St Mary the Less.
The Church of St Mary the Less was destroyed before 1522. Fragments of the building were discovered during construction of the nearby library in 1880. The fountain features a rebuilt 13th century lancet window from the church.
