April 8, 2012. Easter Parade 2012 - Fifth Avenue, NYC.
"From the Sublime to the Ridiculous" New York City’s Easter Parade attracts thousands. From the elegantly chic to the wacky bizarre, New Yorkers parade their finery on Easter Sunday along Fifth Avenue, which closes to traffic between 10 AM – 3 PM for the 2012 Easter Parade.
The 2012 Easter Parade included the usual array of striking outfits, zany hats, colorful canine attire, and dancing. Where else could you stroll on Easter Sunday and be so entertained!

Our drinking league...er..kickball league... finished the regular season last sunday. So this friday night, we had a "kickball prom." it was 80s themed. I dug around in my closet and concocted an outfit that I affectionatly dubbed "the keyboardist from Falco" Vinyl pants, puffy shirt, hot pink bandana, blazer with pink handkerchief. I am SO styling. This is not the best shot, but it is the only one you can see the vinyl pants in. And I was in a hurry at the time.

January 15, 2011-- Our building used to be a nunnery back in the Civil War, so we call it the Nunnery, and sometimes ourselves nuns. :)

we didn't wear big fancy ballgowns to our proms, in our small town, but this was me for my senior prom. those were patent red platform heels. five inch heels. i can't even wear a kitten heel now. yeah. i would kill to be that skinny again- which is funny because i was fat even then. just not THIS fat!
