Happiness is spinning around and around!

Three little boys are all ready for Christmas!

...and somebody tells you they love you

You're gonna believe them

When you're fifteen

And your first kiss makes your head spin round

But in your life you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team

Bree, though still waiting for that first kiss, and for that first love, was growing up in other ways. The experiences of her fifth year at Hogwarts had made her realize what really mattered and that only became more clear later that night at the Yule Ball

This is my first and probably last effort at cloning. You may laugh at people trying this effect and how silly they (we) are, but it's HARD!

Anyhow this is my submission for Mission24 this week. I hope it's not just me but every time I have to dress up to go out I really struggle to decide on what to wear. I change at least 3 times before I decide on what I'm wearing. Then there's makeup and jewelry and hair to pin down. It really is fun to be a girl but we reserve the right to change our mind, even if it appears we've made our mind up. So watch out for those ch-ch-ch-changes :-)

Where's the party??

ODC - 1/16/2016 - All dressed up and nowhere to go

At the 2016 Camel Fair in Pushkar, Rajasthan.

These days it is difficult to find clothes for my daughter that we both like ... she doesn't like anything too childish and I don't like anything too grown up! So when we found this dress that we both liked we were pretty happy ♥

One reason my son enjoys wearing neckties is that they give him an opportunity to try different knots. This one is called the rose bud.

In Brugge you see many people who are dressed up in nice clothing, and also fancy hats, both ladies and gents!

It is the capital of West-Flanders.

And the tourists from all over the world follow suit.

I wish you a day full of beauty and thank you for your visit, Magda, (*_*)

New York, NY - October 12, 2023

In the heart of the Big Apple, where the skyscrapers touch the heavens, a different kind of spectacle descended upon the city that never sleeps this past weekend. With capes flowing, lightsabers aglow, and masks donned, the annual New York Comic-Con took the Javits Center by storm. This city, known for its cultural diversity and boundless creativity, played host to one of the world's premier pop culture gatherings, and it did not disappoint.

The weekend kicked off with an extravagant cosplay parade that brought together heroes, villains, and characters from every conceivable universe. From the towering Hulks to the dashing Spider-Men, it was a visual feast that left spectators in awe. Elaborate and meticulously crafted costumes paid tribute to beloved icons, showcasing the dedication and artistry of the community. Who knew Gotham's Dark Knight and Star Wars' Princess Leia could share the same sidewalk? Only at Comic-Con.

No Comic-Con would be complete without a trip to the sprawling showroom floor. Vendors, both local and international, offered a treasure trove of merchandise. Action figures, comics, exclusive collectibles, and pop culture artifacts, as far as the eye could see, were on display. It was a shopper's paradise, and those lucky enough to attend seized the opportunity to snag limited-edition items and immerse themselves in a collector's dream.

New York Comic-Con is not just an event; it's a pilgrimage for enthusiasts of all things fantastical. Whether you're a casual fan or a dedicated aficionado, the convention has a way of making everyone feel at home. Cosplay knows no bounds, and conversations span across galaxies, embracing diverse perspectives and backgrounds. At Comic-Con, fans discover that the love for these stories and characters binds them together in a world where anything is possible.

As the curtains close on this year's New York Comic-Con, the city is left with a lingering sense of wonder and excitement. From the incredible costumes to the electrifying panels, it was a celebration of the human imagination and the power of storytelling. Until next year, when the geek culture tribe reunites in this extraordinary melting pot of dreams and fandom, we'll be counting the days.

A quality scan of a previous post

I often wish I could look like a woman. When I cross-dress as a female I inevitably challenge myself to taking a series of close up portraits in pursuit of this inner dream, well it is fantasy really as, alas, I'm a man not a woman so will never look female.

On seeing this picture today I became aware of how over the years I have plucked my eyebrows into a much neater shape that is useful for when I dress up as a woman rather the bushy eyebrows I would have normally.

It's interesting how no-one has noticed this at all. I used to be very concious of having shaped eyebrows yet adored it once I put on my make-up and became Helene. It does help to a degree with my efforts to look more feminine than masculine but as I mentioned, I still feel I cannot escape the man behind the make-up, my features are just not feminine.
