When trying to figure out what I wanted to do for an individual build for Brickworld 2019, I was at a little bit of loss. And then one day I was scrolling through facebook and saw a sponsored link for the 2019 HGTV Dream Home in Whitefish, Montana. I immediately fell in love and just had to build it in LEGO form. Construction took about six months and lots of measuring, and planning. We Dream. We Build Homes
So many buildings are being built in my area of the city. I hear stories of more and more cost saving strategies that take away from the quality of the workmanship although the prices escalate. It makes me think...what is a home? In all my life, there were two homes that I entered where I felt they contained the heart of something all the money in the world could not buy. Both were rented apartments. I wish more people would dream of all the wonderful experiences they would like to have in a home before even going to the market. I wish they would build within themselves the same quality that will ultimately radiate throughout the building they occupy. It is worth considering is it not?
Lava House is a modern home with a colour scheme inspired by the 1970's and hot lava. Dark orange, dark red, reddish brown and black are dominant colours.
The house is situated on a volcano shaped rock surrounded by a stream of water and sand. In some way it reminds me of Calmwater Cliff House MOC, but it is still very different.
Inside the house you find a fully furnished living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and TV corner upstairs.
The grille tiled roof can easily be lifted off in order to display the interior.
My plan is to display Lava House at a Swebrick exhibition in Hässleholm, Sweden, in the middle of August 2018.

Litte Bat went for a walk in WychWood with his favorite witch. The walk for Bat soon ended when he heard strange noises in the woods. Bat, you're such a scary cat!

A floating home by the sea. Modern and comfortable. The house is surrounded by a wooden deck and shallow water. A bridge connects the deck to the guay. Fully interiored as always. Kitchen, toilet and living room downstairs. Bathroom, bedroom and storage space upstairs. You find photos of the interiors in my photostream.
Inspiration comes from childhood summers and sailing with my parents. It was a challenge to catch the maritime feeling with details such as railings and stays and at the same time keep the design clean and modern.
I used dark blue bricks to create the water surface. The more common technique with transparent tiles or plates wasn't really on option because it didn't fit in the colour scheme.
In Olive Sand House I combine the the desertlike surroundings and olive green/tan colour scheme of Whitebrick Sand House with the striped architecture of for example Green Rock House, Calmwater Cliff House and Vanilla House that has in some way become my trademark.

6. I am passionate about dance. It brings out the energy and rhythm in me. Music helps me rejuvenate and relax.
7. My latest hobby is photography as can be seen in my photostream. I love being creative and expressing myself through clicking pics. I also happen to cherish my camera.
8. I love to travel and wish to do that for a living.Travelling to new places, exploring the world, meeting new people, bonding with nature & mother earth, adventure ... It is all so exciting!
9. Reading is a hobby that i had developed in childhod and it has taught me everything i know today. Making books my best friends, was one of the smartest things i have done.
10. But i could never be called a nerd! I know how to have fun. I have always enjoyed every moment of my life and i have always been surrounded by people who have made me feel on top of the world!

12. I like to make people smile. I like making new friends and i treasure my old friends. I do not like to gossip.
13. I love computers and spend most of my time on my P.C. My work is related to that so i am mostly working on it. Experimenting with various softwares, learning how to use them is another favourite past-time.
14. I am a very lazy person. Love to just SlEEp!! Who doesnt actually! :D But i do like to keep myself fit and try to work out constantly.
15. I don't like to watch TV. However i do like watching movies and few sitcoms on my PC.. Love F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and would have seen each episode 10 times!
16. And like every other girl , I love shopping and I love to dream of a perfect wedding and a happy life afterwards!
