I discovered (late) this game app for the iPhone, iPad and other smartphones that lets you play a portable version of Win, Lose or Draw (sort of). It lets you show your creativity and impress friends and relatives with your drawrings..... LOL (Look me up if you want to play... RADIOTUBE)

What is this, day two of this game? Ha! Can we talk about how far I've come from day one. I drew these images on a cell phone screen with my finger. All time favorite was the kitten. Of course I was channeling a certain movie for that one.
In other news...I am five photos away from completion of the photo editing. Halle-freakin'-lujah!!! Now another client is on the horizon. It's going to be a challenge because I received an email that let me know that she does not like to smile or more accurately will not be smiling during the duration of this possible photo shoot, and in so many words, what am I going to do about that. I tried to gently explain that I would never force a client to do what they don't want to do, but generally speaking, if she could possibly indulge me with exactly 3, and no more, photos with teeth, that would be wonderful as these photos will be for her family and friends who might not understand why in every photo she looks like she's three gun clicks away from a suicide. I'm just saying...
In other, other news I've been watching a bunch of apocalyptic movies lately. Maybe I'm just trying to subconsciously prepare or something. First it was Contagion yesterday, and I kid you not, 30 minutes in, I stopped watching it. I was too freaked out. I saw the movie The Eye a while back and I still have never recovered from that disaster. Then back to back, I saw "Attack the Block," and "The Darkest Hour". TDH was way too much like Vanishing on 7th Street for me to like it and as usual, I totally predicted who would die and in what order, and I was right. Attack the Block was actually good. The first 30 I couldn't understand anything they were saying. It was like that other brit movie where the teen gang of kid ends up killing a guy at a party and they all try and cover it up...I had captions on...for English. I felt dumb. The accent is just thick to my ears, but after 30 on this one, I guess I acclimated, because I didn't need captions this go round. Anyway, in Attack the block, a mostly black British street gang has to protect their block after an Alien lands and threatens to take hold of the neighborhood. Sounds incredibly stupid, I know, but its just something about how hard this group fights to keep everyone around them safe even when everyone of their friends, family, police, doesn't believe them. A bit of social commentary in the movie as well but not preachy.
I spent waaay too much time on a few of my draw something pictures, so I figured I'd find a way to save them....
Michael Phelps is a caricaturist's dream. He has a face so uniquely his own. I had every intention of finishing this all the way through with full-blown color, but the app kicked me out before I could get any more (detail) in. In its lightly colored state, this reminds me very much of the work of another NY area artist named Joe Ciardello.
