I wanted the drape to look like a kind of carapace from the side -- I think my results are mixed. Oh well, practice makes perfect!

Twisted tree with strong light coming through and lighting up the surroundings at Dunes de la Marina national park in Spain
While traveling on an extended trip around the country I spent several weeks in Big Bend National Park. First camped in the hot desert section and then moved to the much cooler Chisos Basin in the high country.
While there I found many wonderful landscapes but was drawn to the more intimate details like the way these older leaves drape gracefully over this boulder.
This image was taken using an Olympus OM3 camera with Kodachrome 25 slide film and scanned on a Nikon scanner.
I really enjoy how toy cameras take large objects and make them appear as small objects from a scale model... especially like the grid pattern of the crane's arm.
This shot was taken on a photo safari of central campus at U of M with aTanguay and anikarenina during the April Crappy Camera Club meeting.
This also marks the first time I used my 'new' Diana out in the field. The results were mixed due to the day being very overcast and 'meh'.
