Fabric collected from a baby dress I bought at goodwill. It's used but you can see it is still strong and drapes like nothing you get in stores new.

Henry Moore's 1957/58 sculpture Draped Seated Woman at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The sculpture is one of a series of draped figures and torsos created by Moore.

Moore was born in Castleford near the park and donated many of his works, believing they were better seen outdoors in natural landscape.

There are a whole series of them laid out in the country park area near the entrance, with people and sheep alike wandering around between them.

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is just of the M1 at West Bretton, near Wakefield and occupies a 500-acre country estate interspersed with numerous outdoor sculptures.

There are numerous trails and paths through various zones, with sculptures by such artists as Henry Moore and Antony Gormley among those whose works are exhibited.

The sculptures – which are regularly moved from place to place within the park – blend into the gardens, hillsides and around a small lake, providing an outdoor environment in which to view the works both from afar and up close – and sometimes even from within.

This is a picture of my desk space. Isn't it nice of the Jordan School District to give me such a large area to work? : )

St Mark, City Road, New Lakenham, Norwich

This extremely interesting church sits just off of the Norwich inner ring road. It was built as a preaching house by the Norwich architect John Brown in 1841, and then transformed by successive makeovers in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries into an Anglo-Catholic temple.

The highlights are the vast Art Nouveau rood screen and loft by Temple Moore, the stations of the cross by the Kilburn Sisters, and glass by Morris & Co.

Our second visit to the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (commonly known as the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden) in Mauritius. This time we wandered without a guide.

The garden was first constructed by Pierre Poivre (1719 – 1786) in 1770, and it covers an area of around 37 hectares.

In addition to its famous giant waterlilies, the garden also features spices, ebonies, tropical fruit trees, sugar canes, and 85 varieties of palms from Central America, Asia, Africa and the islands around the Indian Ocean. Many trees have been planted by world leaders and royalty, including Princess Margaret, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand and Robert Mugabe.

So there's been ages since I posted something on Flickr. But I got a new lens, the mighty Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8. It is just amazingly sharp and stable to shoot with. Here comes a number of shots with the new lens!

eurovan drapes, You can find van conversions like this eurovan on Gowesty and the samba www.gowesty.com and www.thesamba.com/vw/. Eurovan is a great van to go stealth camping in. Camping in the Eurovan is amazing. What I'd like to do is add a swivel seat to the drivers side of the van, add a heater to the van, do some mods to the van, tint the windows in the van, add a high top or a poptop to the van, and also take out the seat that is in it and have a full time bunk bed in the van.
