Burlington, Vermont USA • Shopping with my daughter, for a shirt to wear to my son's wedding on Saturday, we discover a provocatively draped mannequin in a store along the way. we chuckle; I take some shots; we move on – until we come across this one in a different store. Now we wonder about a mystery fashionista prankster on the prowl.

And, why didn't I think of this, when I was a teenager? "It's not too late," said my daughter.

killer set of pastel pink rayon drapes with gold/black dandelions....saw them and had to have them....I got 4 panels for $8 with the orignal hangers

Cross in the sanctuary of Tupelo First United Methodist Church, adorned for Easter. The tree in behind is the healing tree, also adorned for Easter.

Heather loves caves and caverns so on this trip back East I tried to take her to as many as possible. The first one on our list was Luray Caverns, near Luray, Virginia. I visited these caverns as a kid, probably over 40 years ago.

A lot of reviews knocked Luray Caverns as too commercialized but we thought they were great. Incredible formations everywhere. We lucked out and got to go on a self paced tour so we weren't stuck traveling in a group. This was a great place to visit and we both gave it a 5 star rating.

I took these photos in late April 2015.

While going to bed, she wanted to cover her head with her blanky. She wanted to show mommy, but I came back with the camera instead. I DID tell mommy while I was grabbing the camera.

Insomnia never looked so attractive. Seriously, took these when I was awake at 1AM last nigh... this morning?

First time draping on the stand. Second bustier muslin ever. (Not finished though)

This was made during the Masterclass Couture Bustier 2019 at the Modevakopleiding in Arnhem

Stood on tip toe with the camera held as high as my up-stretched arms would allow to get this closeup view of the urn. The draped urn was a popular cemetery motif of the Victorian era. This one is very weathered with a sort of mossy lichen growth on the north-facing side.

Taken on film, 2000. I love how her back paws are folded here.

Please excuse the pants, they were my paintingpants :)

Working on draping the top of my suit and tie dress - made from 2 pairs of suit pants & several neckties. I think everything is going to be okay.

Under a bug light.

One of two wedding cakes this week. This one went to the Surfair Resort right on the beach at Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast.

11 inch Chocolate Cherry Ripe Mudcake, a 9 inch Caramel Mars Bar Mudcake and a 7 inch White Chocolate. All layered and coated with chocolate ganache and covered in white fondant.

I used half Bakels and half Satin Ice and kneaded in lots of extra icing sugar. I am so impressed with this - it was wonderful to work with and hardly any air bubbles.
