This doughnut is on top of the Sunshine Doughnut Company besides the Art Gallery of Burlington where there was an excellent fibre arts show on.
Dave -- Catching up put a photo up recently of a real British/English doughnut and I made a comment about missing them here as the French "Donuts" are more like American ones than those from the UK.
Also, please notice that the Brits don't spell them the same way either - although I have seen them spelt the American way in photos taken in the UK.
This one had a caramel icing on the top, but there's no jam in the middle. This is what a real doughnut should look like - thanks to Dave:
Oh and to eat one, you can, but don't lick your lips before it's all gone.
Now to buy the things I need to make my own.

Doughnut peaches. Strange looking things, but absolutely delicious. Doughnut nectarines are even better.

After way too long of working on this MOC, it's finally done! The Doughnut Shop! A Modular Building with a western style
architecture on one side and an eastern style architecture on the other.
Contains approximately 3255 pieces and yes, I did use Sand Red...

Needles: Clover bamboo double pointed needles size US5
...or whatever you guys call these? This is my fiance's favorite type of doughnut... which is exactly why I got the rement to go with it. <3 loooove.
Don't you also love my vintage looking plate? I dunno if they really are vintage or not, but I love them. Oh oh oh... and, I did end up getting butterprint pyrex, so the BigSmall for that will be coming next... so excited!!

The Brighton Doughnut, officially named The Big Green Bagel, is a distinctive circular sculpture located on a pier near the prominent Brighton Pier along the Brighton seafront. This striking piece of art was a gift from the Mayor of Naples, Italy, to the city of Brighton. While its official name is The Big Green Bagel, it has earned the affectionate, albeit humorous, nickname of the "Seasick Doughnut" among locals.

From the grocery in Headford, Co Galway. It's funny the random things you remember. The second we drove past this place, I *knew* that this was the small town with the best doughnuts in Ireland. (I learnt that on my first visit, randomly.)
Yes, they are very typical, mass-produced supermarket doughnuts, but for some reason, they just hit different!
I decided to take eden's hair down 😱 I'm gonna work on restyling her hair a bit more. Right now I think she looks like an edgy teen girl in 2007 with shoulder length hair that just found out about extensions lol
