Droplets from a kitchen faucet with a portable dishwasher attachment fitting.
It took a little finessing of the valve to get a decent drip from the faucet, and quite a few pictures to get a shot I liked. I got three streams going for an earlier batch, but was unable to duplicate that for the batch that yielded this picture.
We were blessed with this double rainbow as a rain storm swept over Stoer Lighthouse on Saturday morning, It was a fantastic sight and the colours were so intense against the dark grey clouds. Thanks to Steve for persuading both Iain and I to go with him, wouldn't have wanted to miss this for the world.
Last night on Lake Champlain......
I play a guessing game at sunset time according to what I can see. I can't see the horizon, so it really is a guessing game. Last night, I saw that mackerel sky and decided to go. That mackerel sky was photo bombed by the closer clouds. lol

They always get my attention as I would love to capture them doing the torpedo when they pursue a fish. I had that opportunity once and would love it again especially when the fish jumps out in front of them.
A botanical art edit of a spray of leaves from our Double Viburnum bush in our back garden.
The Doublefile Viburnum (Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum) is a true "architectural" plant. In a landscape, it acts less like a simple bush and more like a living sculpture because of its unique horizontal branching.
I planted this about 20 years ago and it's still bringing grace and beauty to our property...
Enjoy!
Good morning everyone!
On this cold and snowy morning here in Ontario, I thought I'd go way back into the archives and pull out something different today. This is an old image of Victoria Falls, found on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It's such a beautiful part of the world but make sure to visit when the water levels are high enough to enjoy it. If you're lucky you may even get a rainbow(or two).
