Toby in his cuddle bed! My son David got this for him during the summer, when it was on sale. Toby wouldn’t get in it at that time. Now that it’s winter, we were able to get Toby to get into this doggy bed! 🐶💜
Dirty animal picnic. Got to say I am sooo proud of these dogs. They were models for me today on a dog bed photo shoot. The beds were pretty comfy and Isla and Ben didn't want to get off! Many more photos to work through, but love these pups!
These two were fast asleep when I started taking photos. They woke up just enough to do simultaneous stretches. Otis's stretch was more "upper body", whereas Jimmy curled his toes and brought his fluffy tail between his legs.
Went up to my Mother-in-Law's new house for a visit and then to dinner at Golden Girls Family Restaurant.

Here's Bean, rugged up against the chilly Canberra morning. He's enjoying his breakfast of a lamb neck.
(2327) A bit of a chill this morning, so the blanket made its appearance.

Looks like this lucky fella' has his owners carry his bed with him wherever he goes.....one would not want to lay on the dirty sidewalk!! Marietta, Georgia
Pictures of my beloved Catahoula mix dog, Runyon. Taken over a variety of days in March and April 2023. He is four and a half years old and is completely living his best life. I am just glad that he is part of our family.
The photo that's most frequently misinterpreted by viewers. Some people thought she was in water, some thought she was floating on some kind of cloud. To end speculation, it's a dog bed she'd chewed to pieces in the space of about two weeks for whatever reason.
She never did understand why we were so upset with her.
For the record, no filtering of any kind, save for shooting this through two panes of glass (the window in the back door, and the screen door outside that).
I'm happy to report that Calan's broken leg has fully healed and he's at 100%–a mischievous, active, adorable puppy.

Mamas back home at the nuns place after
getting new bandages, antibodies an pain
medications.One hole's looking better but
the big nasty one isn't. I can still stick my
thumb into it. One on her ear is so so ...
Thursday we do this all over again.
The pallet on the left is her bed, we are under
the nurse nuns porch where Mama can see
everything and everybody. Only Rocky is
allowed to lay on the bed with Mama.

Pictures of my beloved Catahoula mix dog, Runyon. Taken over a variety of days in January and February 2022. He was just over three years old in this picture. He is completely living his best life.
Our morning ritual hasn't changed much as Dash has grown (look at him! 😊). He still gets up 6-ish every day (try explaining DST to a dog...) and after he eats and poops we settle into the front room for a bit. He plays and I drink coffee and curse the hour... 😐
Lately, his focus has shifted from his pile of shredded toys to the street outside. His curiosity is growing about the cars and bikes and people that go by. He gets quite quiet and intense and solemn as he watches the activity. But none of that stops him from keeping an eye on me, making sure I don't slip away and check my email or something... 😒
Man have I been on a hiatus. Have been taking pics but for some reason or other never got around to uploading them on flickr. Christmas day is as good a time as any I suppose :)
I've been pet-sitting Ivy the Irish setter for about 2 months now. Her owner is continents away sorting out personal issues and some of these issues are making giving up this super sweet dog a sad possibility. It's perhaps some consolation that this wonderful girl is spending this Christmas being well loved in my home.
Nothing better than to cuddle by the fire. Gotta rest because a 7-hour flight is awaiting us to go back to our New York life.
Guess she doesn't realize she's not a dog, doesn't care, or hopes the dog will come join her, which he did right after I snapped this photo.
Boo demonstrates excellent form in the closed pike position as he tucks and dives into a deep sleep on Ellie's dog bed.
