Eva chilling on the softest of dog beds. My wife and daughter picked up this "donut" or "kiddie pool" shaped bed a couple of weeks ago and it was a big hit. So we of course had to get a second one. Here is Eva enjoying all of the comforts it can offer.

Teddy is so spoilt he has an array of different beds that we alternate every few months, though it also helps with his allergies. ;)

Here is he stretched out on his Teddy Bear bed that his Auntie Louise bought for Christmas, he loves it!!

Knox lying there just watching me, with grass stain on his paws from playing frisbee and everlasting love in his eyes.

My husband bought this papasan chair at a garage sale just for Mr. Nixon who of course immediately claimed it for his own. From this vantage point he can survey his whole world.

Our Daily Challenge 3-9 September : Dog Days of Summer

Sheltering not from the heat but 3 days of rain! The sun finally came out as I took this pic .

Hello, and thanks to all of you who found it in your heart to congratulate me on my 15th birthday last week. It made me so glad.

This is my new friend Lazy Dog, who came to live with me on my birthday September 9th. I thought that I could try being a lazy dog too. Here is the result: it worked out so well being lazy, that I just slid out of my bed and down on the floor right beside this other one while I was lazy-sleeping.

By the way, Lazy Dog is 2 meters long. Yes. 2 meters like in 200 centimeters. Maybe we shall try to fit all of her (or might it be him?) into an image next week.

Hope you have/had a nice relaxing week-end,

Nick

Otis and Tina look very relaxed.

We got the dogs a super nice orthopedic bed from Foster & Smith...they all love it, when money permits I am going to order another

Update July 14, 2021- Nickel is gone now- scampered over the Bridge September 17, 2017. And I never did get another of these nice beds. And Foster & Smith went out of business.

We wanted to get Benni a new bed for Christmas and the sales at Petco were great. The problem is, she likes this smaller size and won't even test the ones for larger dogs.

She already has a bed this size so we didn't buy one; but she had a great time getting goodies, meeting other dogs and sniffing every bag of dog food her nose could reach. A rainy day activity that was a success.

As the store clerk noted, "this is a dog who knows what she wants!"

Pictures of my beloved Catahoula mix dog, Runyon. Taken during December 2020 as he turned two years old. There are a few with Cosmo cameos. He has learned that he loved the fireplace!

Dipper in the snow...... not how I wanted to take them bit beggars can't be choosers!!!

I got her this bed at the petstore, it looks like a dogbed and i thought it was cute :)

Mostly sick today - not doing much of anything. So I need a good subject for my Project365 Picture. It will have to be Cosmo the cat. He is good when you are sick - always by your side.

Lucy is getting a new bed for Christmas because Jimmy peed in her old one. Maybe she'll get to use it every once in a while.

I love this dog!

Chuck in his Christmas bed plus his smaller bed. He likes the cuddler bed. Christmas 2017.

We placed Freddie in with Ritzy on our Poodle’s day bed. They seemed to have gotten along swimmingly. Ritzy even gave Fredericka a lick or two.

I get a kick out of seeing the two "orange boys" together; they don't seem to be sleeping companions that often. Here, Jimmy notices I'm standing over them with a camera.

"I've almost finished the level!"

Met up with a friend over the weekend, and she brought her puppy along for the ride.

When we first adopted Lina, she was happy to sleep on a thick cushion at the bottom of the stairs. But a few days later, Matt taught her how to climb stairs, and from then on she decided our bedroom floor was a more suitable place to sleep at night! Here she is in her bed at the foot end of our bed.

It's a dog bed for 1. Or, maybe 2, if the brother thinks he can make sleeping difficult enough that the first one in the bed will move out. They are a funny pair of brothers. They take turns "winning"!

It's Sunday...so you know I've been doing some 'sliding'! HSS!

There is a settling that is surrounding her...unless there is prey involved, then it all goes out the window!

Pictures of my beloved Catahoula mix dog, Runyon. Taken on July 15th, 2025 in my office as we waited for the workmen to hang a light fixture. Of note was that these are the first pictures taken with my new Canon R8. I am really getting to like this camera. As you know, you need to take lots of pictures to get the feel of the new camera. So far, I really like it. Runyon is around six and a half years old - he will turn seven in December. I am just glad that he is part of our family.

Eva chilling at the cabin. And this was before the morning swim (although admittedly after Bruno made her and my lovely wife get up at 5 am because he was excited to be at the lake). After the swim she was near comatose.

The title is borrowed from an old Simpson's line "because you can't spell relaxo without the word relax".

Taken specifically for the studio 26 theme of off centre/at the edge.
