Tyson back at home recovering from surgery. I had to decide on taking a chance with the anaesthetic at his age, 12 years, or probably loose him. I was pleased when when I get the call that he had recovered. He is being really spoiled at present - but he is getting back to his usual self!!!

From Santa, of course.

I wanted to remove that white speck from her nose, but she'd have been so annoyed that she'd walk away and shut down our photo session.

...I mend.

when cleaning out my walk-in closet I found an old dog bed. it's back in working order again.

Bit would say hi, but she's clearly pouting about something.

This "dog" bed will accommodate six cats, but Tina occupies it alone a lot of the time.

It is hot.

And humid.

And we're out of clever things to say.

Hope you're all staying cool! 😎

L to R: Muse, Cricket, Tina

Today, Muse was accepted on the dog bed -- the cats' favorite spot for group sleeping. He was, in fact, sprawled on the dog bed.

...and the cats had changed into this conga line.

When cool temperatures arrive, there is an ever-changing configuration of cats on this dog bed.

Otis is sunk way down in the cushion, making all of his appendages settle into a compact oval like a cocoon or womb.

This is Cousin (L) and Tina (R).

Cricket is the tabby (male). And Tina is our diminutive female.

I think Cricket looks like a bodyguard, here, because Tina is so tiny by comparison.

A colour photograph of Molly, our British bulldog. She has been having a bit of a rough time due to a leg injury and complications caused by medication.

Actually, Cousin was just looking up from having his face buried in Otis's fur (adjacent photo).

Hollycat. She sometimes deigns to share it with Belle. But ONLY sometimes.

Is there an event called the "Sprawl" in the cat Olympics?

There are no cat Olympics? Well, there should be.

aka our "dining room"...

That's Cousin (tabby), Tina (tuxedo), and Otis (dilute orange tabby).

Cousin (tabby) still doesn't like to be touched by humans, so I'm glad he's close to his feline family. Cousin adores Otis.

You can barely see Tina's head-- mostly her black chin and the tips of her paws. That's a third cat below Cricket's paws.

Sally bought this gigantic dog bed for Potato, who has taken up residence on that table. She did, however, expect that Potato would share it with others.

Too hot to sleep on the bed...

Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!
