This photograph was taken by Nicholson Museum curator William J Woodhouse in Greece between 1890 and 1935.

Can you help us catalogue the Woodhouse photographic archive? Contribute by adding tags and answering the following questions in the comments below:

•What do you see? Write a brief description for this image.

•Where was this photograph taken?

•Can you find the geo co-ordinates (latitude and longitude) of this exact place? Let us know by linking to the google maps or add the co-ordinates in your comment.

•Do you know what year this photograph was taken?

About the archive:

The Nicholson Museum holds over 1800 glass-plate negatives taken by Woodhouse while in Greece in 1890s and early 1900s. A small portion of the archive also includes photographs of his family in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. The collection documents important archaeological sites, significant landscapes of the Greek mainland, contemporary buildings and the people he met along the way. His archive is a rich resource capturing many sites pre-archaeological excavation and before modern industrial development. Some of the photographs were published by Woodhouse in his book 'Aetolia: its geography, topography, and antiquities' published in 1897. His desire to capture Greece on 'film', was simply put in his introduction: "History only attains its full value by borrowing actuality from geography and topography". The archive shows his love not only for the sites but also for the people and spirit of Greece.

About the project:

We are asking you to contribute to our documentation of this collection and assist us with the identification of the hundreds of different monuments and places in Greece. The title of each photograph will include the museum registration number (NM2007.##.##) and may already include a place name where museum staff or Woodhouse himself have titled the image.

All of our flikr contributors will be acknowledged when the collection is published through our online collections at the completion of the project.

construction documentation - lift upgrading programme

Using various new materials the children were invited to create a class collage using all yellow and then all blue materials. Teachers and children alike dressed in the color of the day and were highly engaged in this process.

Slowly getting around to editing the rest of my documentation. Saving up money for a Nikon D3000. Trying to figure out a new goal for the next year.

We all documented differently, each person looking for something only they (in many cases) saw.

I let them choose which brushes they wanted to use and they beagn to paint. I cut up some ribbon and they explored the other materilas: yarn, pompoms, and especially the gravel!! The children were totally engaged.

this Nelson's Sparrow was one of two present at the Frog Pond at Bald Eagle State Park late this morning. This one, unlike the first, was cooperative enough to sit motionless in this bare tree long enough to allow me to snap a few photos with my iPhone through my binoculars. This species is an uncommon migrant in Pennsylvania, almost seen exclusively within the first few weeks in October. Checklist:

"Although, the small Visitor Center of the Imperial Fora (1999 onwards), and the later new Museum of the Imperial Fora (late 2007 onwards) are very interesting innovative ideas for the continuing development of the educational and museum support system for the monuments and ruins of the Imperial Fora, it is interesting to note that these innovative projects, where actually first proposed and implemented for the adjoining Roman Forum at the start of 20th century by prof. Arch. Giacomo Boni, the Archaeological Director of the Rome Forum (1898-1925), and the later Director of the adjoining Palatine Hill (1907-1925)."

To date, UNICEF Ethiopia has supported the 88 Ethiopian children (44 girls and 44 boys) who were recovered through the negotiation of the Ethiopian and South Sudanese Governments. The children are part of a wider group of 146 children who were abducted from their communities in the Gambella Region and taken to neighbouring South Sudan during a deadly cross border raid on 15 April.

The Documentation Center Nazi Party Rallying Grounds (German: Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelände) is a museum in Nuremberg. It is in the north wing of the unfinished remains of the Congress Hall of the former Nazi party rallies. Its permanent exhibition "Fascination and Terror" is concerned with the causes, connections, and consequences of Nazi Germany. Topics that have a direct reference to Nuremberg are especially taken into account. Attached to the museum is an education forum.

In 1994 the city council of Nuremberg decided to establish the Documentation Center. Austrian architect Günther Domenig designed the museum, winning the 1998 international competition with his proposal to spear through the northern head of the building with a diagonal glass and steel passageway. Inherent in the gesture of this project is a pun on the name and a refutation of the chief Nazi architect Albert Speer who had directed a masterplan for this site including a Zeppelin Field, a stadium to hold 400,000, a March Field for military exercises, a Congress Hall for 50,000, and a 180-foot (55 m) wide Great Road.[1] This is where Speer had created the "cathedral of light" and where the Nazis drew nearly a million people in rallies between 1933 and 1938. These were captured on film by Leni Riefenstahl in Triumph of the Will. Domenig, the son of a Nazi judge, confronted his own personal history in addition to the history and Nazi architecture of the project's site. On November 4, 2001 the project was unveiled by Johannes Rau, then President of Germany.
