Here are some shots of Bradley and my engagement in the West End of Portland, Maine. It didn't happen unless there are pictures to prove it.

This slide shows the documentation process for taking these images of "Backbone" The fabric you see in the frame was hung from the blades of a ceiling fan to soften and diffuse the light.
Took this photo while I waiting in the queue at Berlin airport trying to work out where the hell my bag had disappeared to.
Faire des photos d'aviation en studio !!!! Quelle idée !!! C'est pourtant le défi que je me suis lancé pour cette deuxième série de photos de notre documentaire. J'ai voulu vous donner, de façon anecdotique, ma vision de la vie de l'aéroport, dans l'aéroport et du quotidien du personnel de bord. Pour donner un esprit "bande dessinée", j'ai travaillé en silhouette, puis j'ai retravaillé les couleurs pour faire passer un côté rétro, pour accentuer le cliché de la scène.

I feel like I'm at a changing point of life again. And I thought I have to record this moment.

I loved doing this project with the children and watching them create colors. They loved picking up the golf ball and putting it into the paint. Then watching the ball roll all around in the paint to create a wonderful piece of artwork.

I wasn't the only one who thought to get up high. There are a bunch of these granite pilings along the sidewalk here. They're about four feet tall and offer a square surface maybe a foot wide on a side. Anybody of my age and width has a hard time getting up on one, and once you're there, you have to be careful not to move around too much and step off, but for a while they were all occupied.
This project took place with 12 children ages 3-4. Some thoroughly enjoyed using the tissue paper and were very engaged to gluing it to their paintings. This was important because it helped the children experiment with the use of texture in their artwork.

i'm not going to throw any more money into the $$ pit that has been this conversion. with the possible exception of some temporary fenders for winter riding (i'm tired of getting to class wearing cold/soaking denim).
next step is a frame/crankset upgrade. which isn't going to be for a while.

The children in my classroom are conducting a yellow color study. We discussed the color wheel and learned that yellow is a primary color that can be combined with other colors to make many other types of yellow.

We first started her measurement when she bowed the first time being that head bowed from about 8 inches away from fence to 24 inces on the 20 July! Then when she restood straight on the 28th JUly she was 8 inches away again! Now it is 10 August & she is about 17 inches. My documentation from the 28 July when she restood, has been 8 inches, then 10, then 12, then 13 ca, then 15 now 17. About an inch a day! A new way of thinking about documentation. Per "meta" topic a home page that features content based on tags, and date stamps.
Some children preferred only using the paints. They had foam paint brushes which permitted them to use the brush in a few different ways. Some children stroked their brush creating lines, others used it to press down hard on the paper creating almost like a sponge effect.
