This is a really nice "Restricted Data" stamp from the early 1950s (from a document about the classification of opacity calculations).
"Restricted Data" is a special classification category reserved for nuclear weapons information. It is more or less the nuke equivalent of "Top Secret" but it gets a lot more complicated than that (in this case, the document is RD-Confidential).

I besvarelse av Deres ærede av 4de ds., med indlagte kontraktutkast for leverancen av stenen til ovennevnte søile, skal vi faa tilbakemelde:
Ifølge skrivelse fra herr arkitekt Øvergaard, dateret 23de/12. forrige aar, samt 31te i første og tolvte i 2den dette aar, og vore ærbødige av henholdsvis 2/1, 9/2 og 17/2 har vi paatat os at hugge søilen efter tilsendte tegning og skemaer frit leveret paa jernbanestationen her, inden juni maaneds utgang til en pris av 20.650.- kroner.
I henhold hertil vil De finde indlagt kontraktutkast hvilket vi haaper De vil finde iorden, og skulde det glæde os om De vilde sende det ene eksemplar tilbake i undertegnet stand.
Angaaende leveringen av stenen er allerede arbeidet paabegyndt og en større del av blokkerne utkilet i fjeldet, og skulde intet uforutseet indtræffe, vil leverancen [begyndelse] finde sted herfra ca. medio april.
Som De vil forstaa av den korrespondance vi har ført med herr Øvergaard, kan vi ikke medgaa paa den os tilsendte kontrakt, og er det tilsendte kontraktutkast resultatet av de mellom os førte

Maybe I shouldn't admit this,but I was born in 1959(I know I come across as a young lad!) and actually was in a crib about 5 miles from this farm at that time.I always wondered when the first frost was that year,and the question of when the corn tasseled that year was burning a hole in my soul!LOL

After delivering a widely publicized speech at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, he became a popular figure in conservative media for his views on social issues and the federal government.

This gorgeous original antique engraving of over-the-top calligraphy is from 1879. It's from my very own collection of beautiful Victorian images from the late19th century and it's simply marvelous. .What a stunning frame-worthy gift for the costumer, artist, antique clothing enthusiast, or collector of Victorian art in your life!
It's in smooth condition; aged to a lovely soft and even light tanning just around the outside edges; it's in pretty remarkable condition for paper that's 133 years old.
It measures 4" x 7.5" and it's 6." x 9" overall; blank on the reverse side.

Enige maanden terug kreeg ik van mijn vriend Dick Hoexum uit Groningen enige documenten geschonken.
Dick Hoexum heeft ook grote belangstelling voor de geschiedenis van Vlieland, en heeft door de jaren heen mooi materiaal verzameld.
Als hij op Vlieland was, hield hij zijn ogen open, en was alert als er zaken werden opgeruimd of weggegooid.
Zo liep hij eens tegen een partij documenten op die afkomstig waren van Rijkswaterstaat op Vlieland.
Tussen die documenten die ik van Dick geschonken kreeg, zat ook originele, handgeschreven strandingsrapport van het stoomschip Margariti, op 18 oktober 1967 op de buitenbank van de Vliehors aan de grond gelopen.
Het hele verhaal van deze stranding vindt u onder deze foto van het wrak meer foto's in de set over het ss Margariti.
Het strandingsrapport is een heel leuk document.
Ik vermoed dat het is geschreven door de opzichter van Rijkswaterstaat Piet Kroon, ik meen althans zijn handschrift te herkennen.
Pieter Adrianus Kroon, geboren op maandag 20 juni 1892 te Terschelling, mocht ook graag tekenen, en zijn ook enige potloodtekeningen van hem bekend.
Ik ben Dick Hoexum erg dankbaar voor deze schenking, het is een mooie aanvulling op de verzameling.
Al eerder mocht ik bijzondere zaken van Dick ontvangen, zoals deze foto en nog paar van de bunkers van Stelling 14H na de februaristorm van 1953.
