The rugby league hotbed of Hull boasts a number of strong amateur clubs. Hull Dockers, in the east of the city, Hull Kingston Rovers territory, are long-serving members of the flagship National Conference League. They issued this colour-free, 12-page match programme (£1) for a May 2001 visit by Keighley Albion. Dockers won 44-6 in front of 200 spectators. Albion have since dropped out of the NCL. They now play in the Yorkshire Men's League.

Liverpool, England, UK - November 4, 2015: Traditional sailing ships are docks in Canning Dock in Liverpool's regenerated docklands, with the Liverpool ONE shopping centre behind.

Former Greenland Dock, Surrey Docks, one of the few remaining sections of the Surrey Docks complex.

Greenland Dock is the oldest of London's wet docks, opened in 1699 as the Howland Great Wet Dock, used mainly for re-fitting ships in the East India trade.

Later used by ships on the Greenland whaling trade, which gave it its later name. In the 1800s, timber became the main import at the Surrey Docks.

Closed in 1970, it is now used for leisure purposes.

The Albert Dock is a complex of dock buildings and warehouses in Liverpool, England. Designed by Jesse Hartley and Philip Hardwick, it was opened in 1846, and was the first structure in Britain to built from cast iron, brick and stone, with no structural wood. As a result it was the first non-combustible warehouse system in the world.Today the Albert Dock is a major tourist attraction in the city and is a vital component of the UNESCO World Heritage Maritime Mercantile City. The docking complex and warehouses also comprise the largest single collection of Grade I listed buildings anywhere in the UK.

Waterford was not really the most interesting town. The crystal factory was neat, but from a tourist standpoint Kilkenny has a lot more character.

This was the first dock dogs competition I had the honour of seeing...had fun taking photos.

Challenged with getting these dogs in focus...especially since my camera has a VERY slow focus time. Found my best results with manual focus, and pre 'guessing' how far away I thought the dogs might be...lol.
