The Ever Glory berthed at berths 8&9 for the largest container ships.

Construction wall at the Ferry dock TTC side of the Seven Seas Lagoon, when I returned in October I found that a water fountain had been added here and at the other space at the TTC that was walled off at the time at the base of the ramps to the monorail station, and here too.

This dock, ripped free of its moorings in Japan by the 2011 Tohoku tsunami, made its way to the central Oregon coast the following year. covered with hundreds of plant and marine animal species not native to US shores. This dock is the oldest dry dock in service in Europe. It was hand dug by thousands of workers and was commissioned in 1822.
This dock was used to repair and maintain the ships. Before a ship could enter the dock it had to fill up with water. The ship sailed in and the dock was closed with a big steel door, the ship door. By means of the white posts for the dock, the aligning piles, the dock- master could see if the ship was in the correct position. If so, the water from the dock was being evacuated using a steam engine. The repair work could begin.

Late 14c / early 15c font - the bowl panels appear to show seated under canopies, liturgically vested figures of priests, deacons, bishops and doctors of the church. Underneath are praying angels, evangelist symbols and leaf decoration.
On the stem under carved canopies are mainly female saints - St Catherine with her wheel and sword, St Apollonia with her pincers, and, curiously, 3 seated figures holding babies. Possibly BVM & Christ Child, St Anne holding the infant Virgin & St Elizabeth with the infant John the Baptist. The corners have the remains of crouching lions (?) sadly their heads have been hacked off. - Church of St Mary the Virgin, Docking Norfolk

Today, I went to the harbor (or docks rather) looking for a "boat that won't float" for the monthly scavenger hunt.
I like this statue a lot, but couldn't get the result I was looking for. I was freezing and there wasn't any sunshine .. well that's my excuses :D
One more reason to come back.
