Jointed rail laid by the Rock Island dating back to World War Two stretches into the distance as an eastbound KYLE train crests a hill between Seibert and Vona Colorado. A Dash 9 that has never known the predecessor of whose rails it's running on leads this train on a hot February afternoon. It has been an unseasonably warm winter with very little moisture out on the plains of Eastern Colorado. It's hard to believe that this is February and not late summer. One thing is for certain though, you can never outguess what mother nature will do out here.
I took this shot of the lovely group of trees this morning and by the time I uploaded them to my MacBook Pro they appeared to be somewhat distorted!!
Well, if the truth be known I uploaded them to a Photo App called Tangled FX which created the distortion via a Brush Stroke preset!

Photo taken with the Mir-1B 37mm ƒ/2.8 with globular mod (reversed front element) on a 17–31 mm helicoid.
Houses on the opposite side of the road provided the reflections which contorted as the eye moved. The green stone work providing a frame within a frame, within a frame.
