Some wave action distorted straight lines, added some patterns with reflections and divided the scene into thirds.
Something different today. Something dark and eerie:
Here, as always, is the MJ prompt.
The images are the result of refinement with the help of weighting "::2 and ::3". The chaos parameter c30 in combination with s1000 makes for a certain self-willedness of the AI.

The Cathedral of St. Basil the Great was erected near the wall of the Middle City (now lost) back in the 14th century; in the chronicle under 1377, it is said about the decoration of this temple with paintings. He had an alarm bell ringing during the siege of Pskov by the troops of Stefan Batory in 1581. In 1413, a new church was erected, which underwent many alterations. "In order to judge the former appearance of St. Basil's Church on the Hill, research is needed, which no one has even tried to start until now," wrote Yu.P. Spegalsky in 1963. Since that time, the study of the temple has progressed somewhat, but the hour of restoration of the most beautiful of the Pskov temples has not yet struck…
The main volume of the single-domed temple may have been covered with a posacomar; the current four-pitched covering certainly grossly distorts its completion. Placed on the basement, the temple had a two-tiered gallery and a side chapel from the north (St. Alexei). It is difficult to admit that the temple ... is very rich in composition, did not have a second chapel ... the western part is completely distorted, it was attached to it in the 18th century

It's one thing to question your mind. It's another to question your eyes and ears. But then again, isn't it all the same? Our senses just mediocre inputs for our brain? Sure, we rely on them, trust they accurately portray the real world around us. But what if the haunting truth is they can't? That what we perceive isn't the real world at all, but just our mind's best guess? That all we really have is a garbled reality, a fuzzy picture we will never truly make out?
The reflections of the 5 sails that top the PanPacific Hotel, downtown Vancouver, take on the intended artistic slant of a contorted appearance.

Applied a bit of distortion to that massive crowd to make it more interesting (perspective-wise).
Enjoy!

The new Axel Springer building opened in October 2020 after four years of construction and is located in the center of the former newspaper district, directly on the former inner-German border, which runs right through the building.
The design for the modern office building was by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas (Office for Metropolitan Architecture). The light-filled, cube-shaped building is located in close proximity to the two Axel Springer high-rises and the Axel Springer Passage. The building's interior features interconnected terraces and a 45-meter-high atrium. Tinted glass surfaces and 3D-effect structural elements form the facade.

Laowa 2X Macro - f/8.0
Since this is a totally manual lens, the camera doesn't record most of the EXIF data. Learning to use this lens is definitely a 'work in progress' for me. My other macro lens is a 50mm Zeiss, which basically makes everything look better. I think maybe the Laowa lens requires a certain skill (which I don't have just yet) to create a quality image.
The spoon is a small vintage "grapefruit" spoon. The bowl of this spoon at this angle is 1.5" wide. Super 2X macro is a wonderful thing !!
A long exposure, landscape image of a pine forest in Perthshire, Scotland.
Taken using a wide angle lens with no distortion correction for effect. I am also trying something slightly different with the editing of this image but I am not entirely sure I am convinced yet.
This place is crazy
God it's so cold
I can see in your eyes
A stone up in your hand
You say in your mind
Praying praying for
With the sting
Of your tears
Burning through the ground
There's a fear in your eyes
Enclose surrender
Breaking is tender
Sliding disfigured
Driving that death drum into your heart
Caught up in static dreams
If only Distorted angels sing ..♫
