So nice not to have to wear the big, heavy coats... even if it's just for a couple of days.

"pushing a volleyball through a net", as a friend said seems to explain it pretty well...
This one too will appear on my website @ www.manhole.ca shortly...
Had a great weekend away with the Kids and grandkids, was tough leaving them especially as little Zoey got so upset with us leaving and wanted us to stay but we will see them all again soon
took this shot during a parade right by the house and even though distorted and reflected most of the family are in this shot and as well its a funky reflection I like so decided to share this one

I think the guy in the black & yellow chair is the owner of this vehicle. He does a great job keeping the parts of the car clean. Great how you can see me in the reflection off of the headlight.
This is the last photo of the set for Retrofest 2009. Hope you enjoyed the festival from my perspective.
This image was shot on a 4 x 5 Sinar camera through a flat spot on a glass ball, then color was tweaked in Adobe photoshop to my liking. This image is part of the ongoing TIME SERIES.

An installment at the UofL. Dealing with sound and plants. This is the sound capture device (minus the mic).
Had a chance to get out and shoot some pics with www.flickr.com/photos/zgrayman/ and www.flickr.com/photos/kmountmaniac/
Just a bit chilly on this last night of winter but great to meet everyone. Interesting how three people snapping pics on the streets of Oakville attracts attention.
This is the last of the back-filling shots that I took prior to the sunset series.
Reflective and distorted details in the glass of one of the Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) towers in downtown Jacksonville. The other Wachovia tower, officially named River Place Tower, is perfectly reflected in 6 panes of glass. The distorted image of the blue Main Street Bridge fits perfectly in one pane of glass. How I managed those feats is a mystery.
I highly over processed this image and I like the result; it's almost HDR-like.
Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!
Distorted reflections, including bits and pieces of the surrounding buildings, in the Sackler Courtyard of the Victoria and Albert Museum
One of a folio of paintings for a course I am doing by correspondence. The detail used in this painting design was influenced by the Australian artist Richard Larter.
