Something different from me.......I got myself a Lensbaby Muse. I love the effect and the selective focus...just got to learn how to use the thing properly now. Comments and criticism please.
There are large mirrors facing each other in the Second Floor hallway. This creates optical feedback with repeating images going to infinity. The image in the far mirror is distorted, however when you get closer the image is perfectly clear.

At Alona Bay on Lake Superior, I stood on the shore admiring the colours of the rocks under the clear cool water. As I started to walk through the water, over the smooth, beautiful rocks, I caused the water to ripple. I took a few photos of the distored view of the rocks that resulted. I didn't enhance the colour at all - the bright blue that shows up is the reflection of the sky. These turned out better than I thought they would. It took me a while to find an angle where I wasn't getting the glare from the sun.

Day 329 Year3 of Project365
Me and Cynthia woke up really early in the morning to got to Chicago at a sunrise to enjoy it without people. This place is always ridiculously crowded, not at 6:30am though. This is me standing under the bean, well Cloud Gate, the artist who created it apparently hates when people call it bean... well he shouldn't have made it in a bean shape then :)
