The distorted vision of the tail light in the car park this morning. I waited a bit before making the dash in to the office.

In reality the child in front is about half as tall as the adult playing basketball behind him... the basketballs are also the same size in reality.
It's really fascinating how distorted people/things can be at this angle.
And of course I love the reflections too :)
I don't even know if I should post this......I may delete it I don't know!!!!
I've owned a Polaroid Camera since last year but never got round to buying the flim for it! Eventually had the chance this morning after buying some at the weekend to take a few shots and by eck it's not easy! I looked a gink in most of them and it's made me appreciate digital soooo much more. However, I'm absolutely loving the effect of polaroid. A few other shots this morning included pouring milk over myself (in the shower of course)......it did not come out as expected and after four attempts I gave up cos film is not the cheapest to buy!
I've had the shittiest weekend EVER! I've felt really ill, and incidents on Friday night resulting in me giving a statement to the police made me feel very sad even though the nice Mr Policeman wanted to double check my DOB cos he didn't think I was THAT OLD lol! Anyway all is ok and I sometimes think I should have been a counsellor instead of a photographer.
Oh and this was the most awkward and uncomfortable positions hence the title!
and this is awesome www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjD4eWEUgMM
Bought at a French "Vide Grenier", a boot fair in the UK, some years ago. It is very awkward and heavy, but we have grown to greatly admire it as an object d'art.

This is further up a small stream I photograph ice on on the south end of Schaghticoke Ridge.
When water is moving slowly over a small waterfall, the lip of the fall sometimes produces a nice distorted reflection of the trees behind it. You have to look carefully to find these but they're fun to attempt to capture once you do.
A cloudy, gloomy, rainy day viewed through a rain splashed windshield.
Distortion is easy. The line separating reality from fantasy gets blurry sometimes.
“Distorted reality's now a necessity
To be free.” A song by Elliott Smith.
The wake of the canoe bends the reflection of altocumulus clouds. These clouds usually form ahead of storm systems and predict bad weather, like our current forecast. We are bracing for a wild end to the week with 10-15cm of snow mixed with freezing rain/ice pellets and wind gusts upto 60KPH.
Distorted Spring indeed!
