For reference. This is a contemporary street layer, but the basics still apply. I-35 was built on the route of East Avenue, which was a fairly large street in this period. The Mo-Pac follows the RR line (the thick, dark line) to the west. The low-rent area to the east (lower right) is the segregated black area. Oddly, if you compare this to the education map, the area between the UT campus and the capitol is a high education, but moderate rent area -- I'd guess this is sort of a government/university ghetto.

Exciting stuff.
I incorporated qualities of graphic novels into an effective piece of design. The final item was presented in a protective wallet like a real graphic novel.
My dissertation for a PhD in Aquaculture at Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture (FBA), University of Nordland (UiN), Bodø, Norway. Thesis: "Flesh quality and growth characteristics of farmed Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.) in relation to feed, feeding, smolt type and season". Acknowledgements goes to my supervisors; Christel Solberg, Ørjan Hagen and Eldar Å. Bendiksen, collaboration partners; BioMar AS, the University of Gothenburg, the Norwegian Research Council, FBA and Gildeskål Research Station AS (GIFAS), co-aouthors of published papers, technical staff at FBA and GIFAS, and all others that have contributed.

Both my cameras went on vacation without me, so I figured that I should put in some time in on the dissertation.
This graph is an analysis of the changes in the RGB color pallette in the Bodega Bay sequence in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds over time (expressed as a series of consequitive frames of the film). The green horizontal line is the average change for all frames of the sequence. The blue line is the average change between frames for frames identified as key frames in Raymond Bellour's The Art of Film. The Gray vertical lines are the points in the film that Bellour identified as significant points in the Bodega Bay sequence. The Y-Axis of the graph is logrithmic.
There are a couple of points that stand out for me on this graph. First, the majority of the key frames identified by Bellour are fall with in the top two cycles of the graph. Second, it seems like the necessary difference between two frames to be considered to be a significant discontinuity within the sequence is an exponential jump.
After the sentence was read, Adolf (the fat one in the middle) was sent to the Bobst Library High Security Prison where he had to change his stern black suit for a most faaaaabulous purple prison jumpsuit.
