I guess this is some kind of giant fossilized clump of bones. Or something. Again, I was just there to take pictures, not to pay attention or learn stuff. I liked the text and the reflection in this one.

Central Library's Fiction Department is showcasing summer beach reads. Stop by any Birmingham Public Library to check out an armful of guilty pleasures to read while travelling or baking under the sun. Please remove all traces of the beach before returning.
The Teyler Museum had the craziest collection of rocks (including phosphorescent ones in a special room that had a trapdoor that triggered a series of lighting changes to best display the glowing rocks), weird science apparatuses, fossils, oil paintings, and taxidermy. It was AWESOME.
