stored inside my storm-damaged, built in (used to be a window, with a backyard view - about 40 years ago!) is my largest Laguna, but you will have to wait to see a good photograph of it (and the best slab a friend had already cut off the face - unfortunately!)

Established in 1873, the Tone's Brothers pioneered what is now the oldest spice company in the US. By 1888, they had changed the game by inventing the individual, pre-ground spice packaging we enjoy today.

Yes, Please - Sciascia Confections in the Ferry Market, New Hope, PA. The website has more amazing treats: sciasciaconfections.com/
With his week not getting off to a great start, Stormtrooper Bruce now has a good grasp of the meaning the daily grind. With his daily duties finally over, STB now hopes his little guest will soon grow tired and leave. But the universe has other plans.
GG: Unka Dude, you're doing great! But NO peeking!! It won't be long now.
STB: Good grief, what in the great galaxy are you doing? Who are you today, and what do you have there?
GG: Thought you'd never ask. I'm Garry the Gardener, and three guesses what I have here. And the first two don't count.
STB: Well, stop giggling. I'll give it a go. Gumdrops!
GG: No.
STB: A gorilla?
GG: No.
STB: A Gamorrean guard, from all the grunting you're making.
GG: Absolutely not!
STB: Well hurry up. You hear that growling? That's my stomach, I'm starving. It's late and I just want to grab some grub, play some games and then go to bed.
GG: OK, we're almost done. Just a few more seconds.
STB: WE?!?! Who else is here?
GG: There's five of us - Garry, that's me, George, Gilbert, Gordon and Gus - from Unka Pappy's Haunted Alley.
STB: I'm getting too old for this.

There was a Day of the Dead display in the display case of the Glendale Central Library. Not sure why it is still there. Maybe they'll be putting up Christmas decorations soon. This row was the only one I could get a decent shot by placing my phone right up against the glass to avoid getting any reflection.

These are more of my former collection of 1:1250 scale ship models, organized by shipping line. White Star Line w/Titanic at upper left, Cunard at middle right, Union-Castle at upper right, German liners lower left, etc. Acrylic archival-quality cases from the Container Store. A terrible photo, but just wanted to document my collection prior to selling the models.
Update: they have all been sold, and are no longer in my possession.
Carrie Burnham Taylor was a 19th century business woman who ran a very successful clothing factory in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is the ancestor of my wife Lynn who contributed to this exhibit.
It's a fact.
(i'm working through a lot of craziness right now ---and for those of you who asked - it's good crazy, not bad crazy---but I won't be on flickr much in the next few days)

Can you picture Alexis and Crystal having a little tussle on these stairs? Or temporarily blinded Blake trying to make his way up or down them? It's just a normal day at the Carrington Mansion of mayhem!

I spotted this cutie sitting on one of the fancy display cases at the front of a jewelry store in Carmel-by-the-Sea. As expected, a crowd gathered around to admire him. Kind of a funny scene with everyone taking photos of it with tiny smartphones while I was crouching behind everyone with a huge DSLR.
Hello There!
I'm George. I'm a potter, sculptor and decorator and I have a pottery studio in Greece.
I'm also a Star Wars 3.75 inch collector.
I love to display my figures and I love to make dioramas for myself and other people.
This is a classy wooden display box with led lights, plexigrlass window and with an Ice Cave Diorama inside.
I make my dioramas with polymer clay ((it's like plastic strong and flexible) and then hand paint them.
