Soon after I took this I had a fall and dislocated my right shoulder. I tried to protect my camera, lens and filters rather than myself and as a result, fell awkwardly! Hence the name! For this shot, I had to wait ages for the sun to come from behind a cloud and then had about 1-2 minutes before the sun set below the horizon. The low angle of the sun meant the tussocks that were illuminated kept changing so I literally did have to chase the light. Was it worth a dislocated shoulder for?

Yesterday I shared a photo of this same road taken from the same location. One looks east and the other (this one) west. I just swung the camera around 180 degrees.
It's not a perfect picture, but it's not about that.

The Aftermath Dislocation Principle (ADP) is a trilogy of artworks by Jimmy Cauty on a nationwide tour across the UK.
Each artwork is a 1:87 scale model housed in a shipping container.
The models are viewed through tiny observation ports in the sides of the containers.
ADP 1 is a 40ft container that houses a vast post-apocalyptic landscape populated only by the police and media crews. The landscape is set somewhere in Bedfordshire and is known as 'Old Bedford'.
How about a simple shot for Friday? With all the wind the night before, the dunes had plenty of nice lines in them. Many of the lines looked nearly perfect but occasionally you'd find a small dislocation. I thought adding the dislocation as the subject would make for an interesting abstract photo.
