Unlike a DVD or CD, this thing usually comes in a protective cover (like with a floppy disk, any of you remember those?), and it has this bit in the middle instead of a plain hole.

you're supposed to write a wish on the clay disk, then throw it off the mountain and try to get it through the hoop. I failed dazzlingly -- good thing I didn't make the wish.
