Some of the diskettes that came with the 1541 disk drive I bought in 1986. I had absolutely forgotten about the LOGO diskette, though. (Good thing I made a copy at the time -- I guess the original went lost).
And look at that Commodore blue sleeve. Isn't it cool?

Old floppy disk brought to life in the form of a nice pendant lamp !
Sure enough. Here a First-shipment rotor is stacked on top of a Second-shipment rotor. Note size discrepancy and different shape of the "crown". What I "won" was ... "This auction is for a Mustang GT Front Rotors and Calipers Package" * includes front rotors, complete caliper assembly: brake hose, supports, and pads " "This item is an original equipment part that was removed with less than 5 miles on the vehicle. Every part in this package deal is in excellent condition, however we do not guarantee that they are free from any scratches or blemishes."
They strung me along with empty promises until the dispute period expired, then ignored my pleas. More fool me, but that makes them thieves, doesn't it?
(Someone asked for an update: It's been two years or more. The point was: Even such high-volume and highly-regarded sellers can be rats from time to time. If they have something you want, at a price you like, it will probably be a problem-free transaction, but don't be surprised if there is something wrong, and do your objection and claims routines early. Don't let them run out the dispute period, as I did.
Matter of fact, I have something coming from them tomorrow (03 June 2009). We'll see how it develops ...)
(A week later: This one was perfect: excellent price, careful packing, timely delivery of an item that is exactly as advertised. I guess every one is a gamble; win a couple, lose a couple.)
Next picture, please.
Cole o CD no papel.É pra colar na parte colorida do papel.
Da para perceber que o cd vai ficar da cor do papel.
Depois corte o papel que não foi colado no CD.
We went over a half-finished Disk 'piece because we were doing a joiner with Keen and Robbo.
It's never nice to have to do that but when Disk turned-up he was really cool and started on this.
Thank you Bobby Disko.
Hard disk errors pop up when I try to install Ubuntu on my Mac via Bootcamp. This tells me I should get a new hard disk.
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts featuring the Kodak EK160-EF, when Kodak were forced to discontinue that camera around 1983, they offered customers the chance to trade it in for one of THESE! The Kodak Disk 4000.
As it's name suggests the camera takes 'Disk film', which was a boxed film containing a circular plate with 15 10x8mm exposures that rotates as each shot is fired. As you can probably tell this format wasn't particularly successful and proved quite challenging to process, which led to production finally being ceased in 1999.
This camera carried an f/2.8 12.5mm lens with a built in flash unit, housed in a brushed metal housing. A fun fact about this camera, the battery is enclosed within the camera and could not be replaced?! This one still works! © Carbootography 2017
This is why you check ALL your brake pads and disks not just a couple of them. The other side still had about an 1/8th of an inch on both pads.
This cost new pads, new caliper and a new disk.

Rayed disk. One of original shots in an HDR set - 0 exposure bias shot of 5 shot bracketed burst. See HDR result from the set this image is from. Direct sunlight on heavily varnished rock causes glare that makes the glyph difficult to see in the photo.
