My collection of old and broken hard disks!

A stack of floppy disks with their colorful labels. Ah, nostalgia.

These are disk brakes on a 1983 Datsun (Nissan) 200 SX. A good mechanic can immediately tell you there is a problem.

I'll explain in a few days.

3/19/2012 - A good mechanic would see the moisture at the bottom of the brake rotor back cover. This would indicate a failed seal of some kind allowing fluid to leak. I had to replace a brake cylinder.

Wheels and disks have had a coat of silver paint.

The paint on the braking area of the disk will be removed once the wheel is back on the bike.

Disk releases for the Commodore 64.

A record shop in Tokyo. I ended up buying that record.

500 MB IDE drives from an old Compaq server.

Whilst recycling an old Compaq server, I thought some of the parts needed to be recorded in history. This is one of the pictures.

If anyone knows any background about the item, please send me a comment.

Photo taken with a Canon 30D in Auto mode. The lens was a 18-55 mm and and the item was placed into a light tent.
