I never really know what direction I want to take with my photos, what to base my ideas on, where to take inspiration, how to shoot my ideas. It's usually a bit of a mess.
I feel I need to focus more on meaning, what a concept means to me and how it reflects upon me at the time I shoot the image. I want to be honest and more personal in my work and hopefully I can start doing so now I have more time on my hands.

Southbound BNSF Grain Loads make a grand entrance in the pouring rain through Woodford, with BNSF 8138 on the point the 75 car train is an oddity as grain loads usually go North towards Bakersfield instead of South to Barstow. The train is running in a four by four set up with the mid-train power consisting of another four big GE motors.

The conquest is celebrated in beautiful scenery.
Pictured on the left is Ragnar Gustaf Enos Nordström (1894-1982), a jaeger colonel who lost his second hand in the Finnish Civil War. On the right is another Finnish Jaeger Officer Gunnar Emil von Hertzen (1893-1973). The men have been long-time friends since the jaeger time they spend in Germany.
