This is from a fun match from back in December ... I realized that I didn't have any video of Layla doing obedience, and since she's essentially retired I thought this might be my last chance. I was glad I decided not to enter her in my club's January obedience trial after this run-through -- although she was having fun, it was pretty clear she was going to do things her way.
I guess Layla realized that the glove was dirty before she got all the way back.

Desde que en 2004 fuese aprobada la Directiva sobre Mercados de Instrumentos Financieros (MIFID)
hasta hoy han sido muchas las circunstancias que han puesto de manifiesto la ineficacia de dicha regulación,
al menos en lo relativo a uno de sus objetivos: el reforzamiento de la protección a los inversores.
A la vista de esta realidad, en 2014 se aprobó la Directiva MIFID II y el Reglamento UE 600/2014 (MIFIR),
un ‘paquete’ regulatorio que responde al mandato del G20 de desarrollar una nueva arquitectura financiera
que contribuya a evitar los déficits que dieron lugar a los principales problemas que finalmente
fueron determinantes en la crisis de 2008.
Con motivo de la próxima transposición en España de esta normativa europea, resulta oportuno abordar
el debate relativo a en qué medida esta nueva regulación permitirá superar los problemas a los que MIFID
I no dio solución, en un contexto además en el que un concepto excesivamente formalista de “transparencia”
y la apuesta por la información previa como elemento nuclear de la protección al consumidor pueden
convertir en ineficaces las medidas previstas. Desde esta perspectiva de análisis de la eficacia para la
protección de los consumidores en la aplicación práctica de MIFID II impulsa ADICAE la presente Jornada,
en la que desde las visiones de los diferentes agentes implicados y partiendo de las medidas contenidas
en la normativa europea se abordaron los previsibles efectos que su aplicación tendrá en España y las posibles
medidas de refuerzo y avance efectivo para la superación de los problemas existentes.

Pedro Cayuqueo, periodista, escritor y directivo de la Corporación Enama lanzó el pasado 11 de mayo y a sala llena la edición argentina de "Solo por ser Indios" en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires. Invitado por el Consejo Nacional del Libro y la Lectura, el destacado periodista integró la delegación de escritores chilenos que asistió a esta importante feria Latinoamericana que se desarrolló en La Rural entre el 21 de Abril y el 11 de Mayo.
La presentación se realizó el pasado lunes en la Sala Juan Rulfo (Pabellón Amarillo) de la tradicional feria boneaerense y fue organizada por el Grupo Editorial del Nuevo Extremo. La obra, publicada en Chile en 2012 por Catalonia y que ya va por su cuarta edición, fue comentada por el lonko Luis Eduardo Pincén y por el periodista argentino Adrián Moyano. El acto estuvo encabezado por el destacado antropólogo Carlos Martínez Sarasola, autor de "La Argentina de los Caciques" y "Nuestros paisanos los indios" entre otros libros.
Pedro Cayuqueo (1975, Puerto Saavedra) es originario de una comunidad mapuche de Nueva Imperial. Cursó periodismo en la Universidad de La Frontera. Fundador y director de los periódicos Azkintuwe y MapucheTimes, es columnista del semanario The Clinic y La Tercera, además de conductor de Kulmapu, programa de entrevistas de CNN Chile. Es miembro del directorio del centro de estudios Espacio Público y consejero del Instituto Nacional de Derechos Humanos (INDH). Padre de una hija, vive en la ciudad de Temuco.
