Thank you in advance to everyone that comments and/or faves my picture. They are all immensely appreciated.
soooooo I loved the wallpaper in Kathleens grandmothers apartment. I figured it would be a perfect opportunity for a shot, so I decided to place the chair by the wall underneath the candle stick and bounce my SB600 off of the ceiling being that they weren't extremely high. I love the outcome and the gloomy look of this photo.

This colorful waterfront dining area was photographed along the Boardwalk in Stuart, Florida. See this, and more, on my website at tom-claud.pixels.com.
We repainted the dining room walls and re-accessorized the room with some paint-by-numbers and some of our vintage books, cameras and typewriters.
The deer is cast iron spray painted white, everything else is vintage from either the flea market, thrifted or ebay. The bookshelf was thrifted and I added legs, the faux bois back and a yardstick edge for decoration.
The paint color is Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage color matched by Behr.

My wife and I ate here and had a wonderful Lamb Shank Dinner before going to a Concert a Koerner Hall.

Looking towards the window in A La Ronde in Exmouth. This was the home of two cousins named Parminter. They were so wealthy that they couldn't marry so after doing ten years on the Grand Tour, they decided to live together in this purpose built house. Its the sort of place that might be the product of a drug induced hallucination.
A green anole (Anolis carolinensis) often seen in our back yard appeared on the kitchen table recently prepared to dine. He obligingly extended the red dewlap under his chin signaling his discomfort when I came in close for this photo.
The northbound got away from Eagle Bridge shortly after the previous shot in the stream. With a full train in tow, there were no speed records broken on the trek back to Salem. With the lighting being more/less awful for the return trip, we grabbed a few shots just outside of Eagle Bridge and then made a beeline for Cambridge. We had plenty of time before the train showed, and we all sized up very different angles. By this point there were close to a dozen of us following the Saturday run of the Batten Kill. With a unique town like Cambridge, there certainly were a variety of angles for each and every one of us to capitalize on. Thankfully the sun had disappeared at this point, which made this shot work quite well. I would say that this is by far one of my favourite photos I've ever taken, and although the sky is bleak, I think the subject along with the props truly make this a winner. I'm also quite fond of this one because of the memories that were made with those of us chasing, old friendships and new ones alike. All the while, as a train disturbs the silence in a small town in the Batten Kill region with an active rail line still running, passing the Cambridge Diner, also very much still active.
