The dining tables of Lantaw Busay Restaurant, serving great Filipino cuisines, with a fantastic overlooking view of the city of Cebu in the Philippines from high above the mountain.
After weeks of rain, we were blessed with brilliant sunshine this weekend. The temperatures have dipped to below zero first thing in the morning but who cares when you have blue skies and plenty of light.
This knife and Fork set, has been used by two of our four children, they are over 40 years old.... They helped Thom and Alison with fine dining....
Well today is Thanksgiving, a day of thanks for all, more than the food we eat but for each other, I am thankful for each person I know because our paths did cross for a reason, Have a great day and be thankful 😊🙏💖

Over the past year I've taken numerous shots around the house as we've sheltered in place. Here's our dining room which to me looks like a place you'd see monks sitting around eating their morning bread. That's our Steinway upright sitting against the far wall and in front of it on the floor, is one of Kenzie the pup's bones. I think the bone adds a realistic perspective to the image, and you definitely won't see any monks chewing on it.

This Blue Jay loudly announced to the neighborhood he'd just spotted the peanuts and he was on is way!
Once I heard him, all I had to do was wait and within minutes he showed up, grabbed a few peanuts and took off.
Sometimes the Blue Jays loud calls seem more like a warning to let every one know danger is close by. I can't help but wonder if they do it on purpose to try and scare off the other birds so they can have free access to whatever it is they are after.

Now a ghost town and California State Park, Bodie was once a rough and thriving gold mining town on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. According to the State Historical Park brochure it is estimated that only about 5% of the buildings remain from the town's 1877-1881 heyday. At it's peak, it is estimated that Bodie's population ranged from 7000-8000 people. The park is kept in a state of "arrested decay", meaning that the structures are repaired and stabilized, but not restored.
Obby's world is all about food. So it is fitting that the potter has made special cat food bowls and dishes for the boys. Obby really doesn't care what he eats from...it is all about the food. Happy Caturday!
