We had our dining table set outside for the garage sale, so it was time to do a selfy! Myta took this shot.
Mr. Bluebird returns to the nest with another meal for Junior. The fledgling was well fed and he grew fast. Occasionally he would be visible in the nest. Thanks again for visiting. I appreciate it.
I was chasing early morning light for something completely different. It was a good morning with good light. Just when I was 4 wheeling back for some breakfast in Page I realized that the best part of the morning shooting was not done yet.
Navajo Mountain and Glen Canyon underneath filled with some morning haze demonstrated a unique light spectacle.

and when service with a smile
helped you drive your last mile
drive-ins with names like
mel's, bob's, a&w, and more
populated the highways,
the towns and shores
to have your own car...
pull up in a crop top,
being served by a car hop,
burgers, fries, and soda pop...
those were the days of splendor
immortalized by movies
and stories of the not so young
it's a time we all seem to remember
even if it is a song we had not
ourselves sung
ode to a time
when dining in
was dining out...

Reflecting on a fine day on the town with dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in Bricktown - OKC Metro
we had a family crab-feast last night for my cousin's belated birthday, and of course my photography instincts kicked in. i thought this was a nice representation of the evening...unfortunately, this little guy didnt have as good of a night as we did!
Same very tiny bee loading up on pollen in the yellow lilies. Have several more of it but just saving this one, as well. Handheld.
Will be off Flickr for a few days. Hoping weather behaves, some storms forecast at times, have had a week with no storms.
At the last moment local authorities decided to keep the ban on indoor restaurant dining in place. Many restaurants continued to set uo tables for outdoor service. I guess in these times a half a loaf seems better than none
The Dining Room. From the living room of the abandoned villa "Belle Feuilles" 2015. In the dining room, the meals were not just eaten so. I think here every meal was celebrated as part of their lifestyle and culture.
The Golden Chariot has 19 specially-designed coaches. There are 11 passenger cars. The design of the cabins is inspired and draws from the Mysore and Belur Halebid schools of art and architecture. The bedspreads are hand-woven by artisans, the guardians of age-old traditions.
The cars have been named after the dynasties that ruled Karnataka (Kadamba, Hoysala, Rastrakuta, Ganga, Chalukya, Bhahamani, Adhilshahi, Sangama, Shathavahna, Yudukula, Vijayanagara), the birds of Karnataka (Kajana, Kogile, Minchulli, Marakata, Navilu) and Karnataka's cultural icons (Jambusavari, Dasara, Nandi).
The two restaurants are designed in the style of Belur and Hampi, catering to vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
