we had fun squishing everyone around the table recently for christmas eve dinner! it worked out great :)
The Zep Diner was located at 515 W. Florence Avenue in Los Angeles near Figueroa. The Zep was open “all night” and was the “Home of the Hinden Burger”. The location is now a McDonald’s parking lot. Airships.net notes that the Zeppelin craze of the 1920′s and 1930′s brought the famous Graf Zeppelin to Los Angeles in 1929 as part of its round-the-world flight. Also, who could forget the USS Los Angeles, by far the most successful of the United States Navy’s rigid airships which was built in Germany by the Zeppelin Company.
A vintage iron serving cart sits in the corner of our coastal decor dining room where I use an old silver plate tray and punch bowl painted soft teal along with an old "Blue Heron" restaurant sign, antique seltzer bottle, small hand painted buoy, some lovely blue grape design Windsor Browne dishes and a tiny lamp.
Almost done! A few elements still need a second or third layer of paint, but the whole design is visible now. And then there are those silly details like baseboards and register covers, but you get the idea.

These are my photos of the Haunted Arnold Estate in Burrillville, RI that is now known as The Conjuring House. The property goes by many names: the Arnold Estate, the Richardson Arnold House, the Farm on Road Top Road, and the Dexter Richardson House. Whatever the name, this is where the haunting of the Perron Family occurred and is depicted in the movie “The Conjuring”. The location was recently the subject of the Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" show as the "Curse of the Harrisville Farmhouse".

This farmhouse house is where the haunting of the Perron Family took place in the 1970's. The 2013 horror movie "The Conjuring" was based on the Perron Family experiences that was published in three volumes entitled "House of Darkness, House of Light" by Andrea Perron.

It's always nice to dine out with friends and McCormick and Schmicks is a nice place to do it. The food is great and the service is finely tuned for women like us.
Our waiter was nice and he was very attentive too, .We were taking pics and he asked us if we would like him to take one or two with all 3 of us in the picture, I thought that was a nice touch and it got him a huge collective tip at the end of the night.
I had Chilean sea bass with some nice trimmings around the plate and opted for a beer instead of wine which is what you might expect but I had a few wee drams before our late night dining so beer was a safe bet to keep me upright. Ha!.
Summa Barberton Hospital Cafeteria Grand Opening
Summa Barberton Hospital’s emergency department volume has grown an average of 7.6% in each of the last 5 years, culminating in 2010 with 44,000 patients being treated in an ED that was designed to treat 27,000 patients per year. Consequently, as a part of an overall system initiative to grow emergency services throughout the region, the construction of a new, larger emergency department on the Summa Barberton Hospital campus was approved. The project cost was estimated at $17.3 million.
The hospital's cafeteria, dining area and conference center were relocated and rebuilt in a new location to accommodate the ER expansion. The Foundation is a proud partner of this project, as it enhances and expands the emergency medicine capabilities throughout the region and better serves the people of Barberton.

Our dining room. We live in a small 800 sq. ft ranch home. Its a challenge to keep it from looking too cramped or cluttered.
The slightly more formal middle room is two-steps up from the front room. The cozy space is connected to Hudson Kitchen’s large patio, and filled plush leather back chairs and banquettes. This was previously the Palmerston Café.
