I pealed back the husk to show the progress of the ear. You can see the dimples at the end of the kernels indicating that the ear has finished growing and is in the process of drying down.

one of the first things i noticed about my niece the first time i saw her were her dimples. she turns 6 next weeks and she's still got them. and she's not afraid to use them.

The lens used to take this portrait of me isn't quite as old as I am, but it's close.

Old "glass" (a term some photographers use for a lens) is sometimes the best glass.

A friend passed this and some other very old lenses on to me before he passed away from cancer. I have been very grateful to him ever since I received his legacy of good glass.

This lens is the cream of the crop. An 85mm f1.9 beauty.

My Karen Sue, my partner, my love, took this of me this afternoon. I was showing her how to use focus peaking to get precise focus on a fully manual lens. She really likes that feature of my Sony A6000, when paired with any manual lens.

This was her first frame taken. She nailed it with the lens wide open, giving a very shallow depth of focus.

I still have dimples under all that hair on my face.

This is a follow of the Rhombicuboctahedron from the same series. Assembly was way more difficult, since the dimples are much closer. Only this part is tidy, what's hidden in the picture is no good.

Idea of the coloring was, to have three cuboidish block intersecting each other. Was thinking to do the same kind of colouring with the Icosidodecahedron, but I am a bit discouraged by the assembly of this one.

We have been watching a little, little one off and on this summer. Here he is. Such a cutie.

Seen at local nursery center was this pretty little Viola with a dimple in her chin!

"Grace me with one of your DIMPLES."

It’s a bit of a mystery why cheek dimples are viewed so favorably by almost everyone. It’s likely a combination of factors. For one thing, dimples are most apparent when people smile. If they showed up when people frowned, would they be popular? Not so much. Perhaps even more to the point, dimples are often most prominent in young children, and what's cuter than a happy child sporting a dimpled smile?

Hubby took the day off so I can catch up on life. This joyful little peanut has been very sick for 6 weeks so I have fallen behind. Will check all your streams tonight.

Should I crop this close in on her face?

Awww..I am blushing...my cutie made explore! Thanks y'all!
