Sooo Strawberry Singh did a blog post about digits and personally I found this really interesting. I will admit, i'm pretty attached to my SL shape and don't really tweak it often, so i was intrigued to see how it stacked up against a lot of the other people that took the challenge.

Apparently I have very short arms, tiny hands and my head is small (but we already knew this, since marbles don't take up much space). Other than that I'm pretty much a middle of the slider kinda girl and i'm ok with that!

What are your digits?

From a safer vantage.

This enclosure is from the original building built back in the 1920s and was retain during the recent rebuild/redesign of the entire building. Some of the Hall of Africa was retained as well. Much of the rest was redone.

If you look closely you can see at least one of the large turtles he shares this enclosure with.

Also I think if you look closely you can see at least one of his missing digit on his right hand.

Julien Maire - Digit

A writer sits at a table writing a text. Simply by sliding his fingers over a blank piece of paper, printed text appears under his finger. The spectators can come very close to the writer and read the text following the movement of the finger. The writer remains absorbed in his task.

"Digit" brings the magic of cinema to the act of writing, creating the illusion of a direct line between thought and word.

Julien Maire is a new media artist. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Metz and created some impressive works such as "Exploding Camera", "Low Res Cinema", "Demi-Pas" and more recently "Man at Work". Since the mid-90s he works at the intersection of several disciplines such as performance, media installation and film and produces live-performance works, hybrid both in genre as in media. His installations and performances have been presented internationally at a.o. Ars Electronica, Digital Art Festival, European Media Art Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Sonar, Transmediale, ZKM, etc.

Digit Books.

I'm trying to find, or failing that, compile a catalogue of all the books published by Brown Watson Ltd under the 'Digit Books' name. Does such a thing already exist? and does anyone have any information about Brown Watson Ltd?
