Harbour, Oban. An image taken many years ago whilst on holiday. The original is a slide, recently digitized. The harbour walls were built around 1880, and are category C listed.

Six years, still there. Guess leaves don't always leave. Even after death, just like memories.
About 15 years ago I have digitized over 3500 slides and nearly 2000 negatives with a slide scanner. Now I found out, that the quality is much better using a modern digital camera.

Image shot in 2001 using a Canon EOS3 camera and Fujifilm Velvia 100 iso Slide film. Digitized in 2024 using a Canon R5 camera
This lily was observed on the lower slopes of Mt. Ranier in August 2001. I am not sure of the species but, to me, it appears to be the Columbian tiger lily - Lilium columbianum which is native to the North Western America.

Shot in April 1989 with a Contax 159MM + Carl Zeiss Planar f1.4/50mm ina an Ilford FP4 125ASA film. Years later the photo digitized with a Canon Pixma 4200F scanner.
Not sure who brings more trees down at this lake, men or beavers. The landscape keeps on transforming, it's different every time I visit this place. Water level changes, some trees are missing. There's always something interesting, something new to check out.
